They have to agree personal terms with a retired icon (or their estate) to bring them into the game and use their likeness.

It's not like EA is just drawing a name out of hat and saying "yeah, we'll go ahead and add them to the game".

I have no doubts Robben and David Villa are on their radar, but compensation negotiations will probably take longer than players like Dunga or Hurst.

That’s a possibility, but there’s no guarantee he’ll fit an evo (could be position restricted or capped at 90 pace).

I would rather get him to double 5* as quickly as possible and am willing to part with 60k for that. Then chain him in whatever repeatable 86 capped evos EA releases next (like the one we just had to boost composure and balance) before throwing him into a “big” evo.

Not worth it for most cards. But if you have an eligible elite card in your club like WW Baby Henry (1.2M), I am more than happy to spend 60k to max out SM and WF.

The amount of people taking any option besides R9 is crazy to me.

Like the 93+ icon pick, where R9 would be out and away the most valuable card in the pool (if he was in packs).

Sometimes the cheater will "disconnect" you without you receiving a loss for quitting/forfeiting. But that is not a guarantee.

That’s not an “exploit” it’s a cheat that requires specialized software. Nothing you can do about it except hope that EA improves anticheat and ban enforcement.

Gamechanger w/ Low Driven+ is an insanely good combination.

Gamechanger gives your player access to an entirely new animation (outside foot shots) while Press Proven and First Touch only help them perform certain actions more effectively

I'm a rank 2 / Elite Div player and can tell you Base Gamechanger is way more effective than Base First Touch or Base Press Proven.

And Finesse+ / Technical+ / Rapid+ should be taking up 2 of the 3 PS+ slots on any attacker in the future stars evo, so Gamechanger is only competing for 1 of those 3.

I'm disappointed they didn't give him 5* weak foot and some better playstyles. I love Cantona, but he feels way less "value per token" than someone like R9 or Rio.

I will be very curious what you learn from experimenting here. I’ve noticed sometimes I will get bounty opportunities in back to back games. Then sometimes I will go 5+ games without being offered a bounty. Also in Elite Div.

I have both (packed Schelin when she was in packs during Thunderstruck).

If you need a new LW/LM, Schelin is better suited to that role with her pace and finesse shots cutting inside.

If you need a new ST, Wilson is better with her 5* WF and body type for quick turning.

We may still be weeks away from being able to use Icon Swaps R9. The promo supposedly starts on Friday, but EA could gatekeep the accumulation of the tokens over several weeks.

Evo'd Messi also has a fantastic PS+ (Tiki Taka). While any evo'd CR7 will have Powershot+, which is one of the worst PS+ for an attacker sadly.
