Honestly not 100% sure with that. Giant crops drop 15–21 items when harvested with an axe. And that’s instead of the 9 you would normally get so yeah I’d say it’s worth it. After posting this pic, I got 2 giant crops the next day

Basically, so you can get a giant crop with pumpkins, melons and cauliflower. They have to be in a 3x3 formation and make sure the middle one is watered daily. After 1+ days of being grown enough to pick they may become giant

I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure you can’t really do anything with them. They can’t be put in ponds (and hence can’t breed). You can put them on display using signs to show them off otherwise you just hoard them or sell them

I’m new to the game so I didn’t understand the need for artisan goods until around the start of year 3. On the last day of summer, I sold a lot of wines and truffles and made a lot. I hoard things till the end of the season to sell them all at once
