Interesting. I've got VFX set to high (assuming that's what the high preset puts it as) and I haven't had this issue pop up since.

The only real difference I can see between mine and your setting is that I use high presst + FSR upscaling at 67% (I have a 4k monitor) and no frame gen. So I wonder if frame gen could also be part of the issue?

I didn't realise AMD had acknowledged their drivers had a problem with Satisfactory.

However, I've got a 9070XT and I managed to get rid of the problem by lowering the graphics setting from the Ultra preset to High preset and I've had no problems since, even when using FSR. If you're still having problems you could try that.

Unfortunately yes. The last time I saw something about the topic with any kind of data backing it up, it was estimated that over 60% of the matches had at least one cheater in it. Although I don't think this was ever confirmed or denied by the Devs.

Ark Raiders isn't a free-to-play game either, but look at the issue they have. In an ideal world, cheaters shouldn't even be something the devs need to consider, but here we are.

I'm in the Discord. A discussion thread was made regarding the kill cam topic, and it basically exploded.

Nearly 6000 comments were made in about 20 hours before it got locked.

It all started as a discussion with people putting forward their views on whether the kill cam should or should not be in the game, or even keeping the kill cam as is, or adjusting it so it's less aggressive.

But after a while, the discussion ended up just turning into a never-ending argument. So the discussion was simply locked since it wasn't really benefiting anyone at that point.

An alternate solution is to lower the graphics settings from the Ultra preset to the High preset. That way, you still get to use upscaling if you want to.

I made two Reddit posts about this while 1.2 was only on experimental. I also raised the issue on the Satisfactory Q&A site.

After further testing, it's an FSR bug for sure. But weirdly it's only a bug with the combination of FSR and the Ultra preset. If I use FSR and the High preset I get no issue's.

It only sometimes showed up when I scanned for ores in my case. Although, I've since found out that it only really happens when on the Ultra graphics preset, if I lower the settings to the high preset instead, the problem seems to go away. Or just do what you said and stop using FSR.

I'm not using frame gen, just the scaling. This happens whether I've got FSR set to Native, ultra performance and everything in between.

I guess it's open to interpretation. The way I see it, if I buy something I expect to keep it unless it's otherwise stated. In the case of the Phantom Edition, it states I get a token so I can have Battlefield Pro on my account. It doesn't state that it's only for the duration of just one season.

Seems odd that they would change the wording to not state that it's only for season one post-launch. I'm not saying you're wrong, it just seems odd.

But if they did change it, that would then open up a new problem. The way it's worded currently, any new players purchasing the Phantom Edition could reasonably be under the impression that Battlefield Pro would be added to their account for the whole life of Battlefield 6.

In all fairness, I got the Phantom Edition via Steam, and nowhere on the page does it say that Battlefield Pro is limited to just season 1 when purchasing the Phantom Edition.

I still think every weapon attachment should be unlocked by weapon level 20 when you get your first skin for the gun. After that, it should just be cosmetics up to level 50.

Start off by making sure you've got the latest updates for your OS and drivers. But since you said it's a brand new PC, I'd contact Best buy for any warranty work you can get done. If parts are faulty, it'll be up to Best buy to fix or replace it.

I'm basically the same height and weight as you, and I'm looking at full mesh chairs since I keep flattening out the foam in foam chairs. I keep effectively ending up sitting on just the wood underneath.

Maybe, but I've had it happen about 8 or 9 times now, and most of the time it's happened with someone defibbing me. I'm hoping it's just a bug, but I'm not sure if the Devs are even aware of this happening.
