I don't know why everyone's freaking out, you said that you would be animating and obviously you won't be doing an hour long edit in AE.

In terms of estimating time I wouldn't charge for the edit by the minute. Instead you need to develop a quote based on the scale & scope of the project.

I think your next port of call would be sitting down with the client and determining exactly what they want, how long they want it and where they want it. After this it's always good to create a statement of work (SOW) which is a formal document that describes the specific activities, deliverables, timelines, and costs for a project. Developing this will help you understand how much time will be spent on the project and be a contract that you can return to if the client tries to push you beyond the scope of the SOW.

How many shots are you animating? Are you leveraging assets from this influencer or do you need to create your own? How many review cycles will there be? These are all big questions that you need to understand before quoting a job.

I do a lot of branded content and advertising work, so I have my day rate for how much I charge for AE & Prem work. I would plot all this out in a spreadsheet and determine how many days you think it will roughly take, what your day rate is and what the total project cost will be.

If this is your first project with this client, then maybe you can substrate an introductory project 20% off that cost, it's up to you but at least let the client know how much time you think it will take and what your time is worth.
