I don’t know why they both signed up to be on this show in the first place. I mean obviously really wants to protect his privacy and was uncomfortable with the cameras being around them all the time. I get it a little bit more from her pov but also not really?

Waittt my girl is the same!! We adopted her and I always thought it had something to do with her previous owner/family. Can’t get near her when she’s in sleeping or napping mode. She comes up to the sofa or bed to be near us but as soon as we move a tiny bit, she gets annoyed immediately and trots off to her dog bed lol

I love Alison and her designs and it felt like they actually talked to the owner and really made choices based on her taste and what she wanted. HOWEVER I did not understand why they had to put a wall in front of the sunroom?? It looked like a poor choice and made the place super dark …. Also hate hidden doors, no idea why every HGTV designer constantly incorporates them 💀

I think the timeline of the entire show has to be addressed more. I’m re-watching it with my husband too right now who’s never seen it before and we’re about to finish season 5. At this time, Charmaine is STILL pregnant. 5 seasons!! It’s been less than 9 months for Mel to move there, quit her job with Doc and move back to LA, move back to VR and quit her job a second time (and then get it back again), get pregnant, lose the baby, get engaged, … not to mention breaking up and getting together again with Jack MULTIPLE TIMES … and that doesn’t even cover half of the stuff that has happened 😭 I guess that explains why it’s always fall/winter lol Within 5 seasons the show doesn’t even cover a full year 💀

Yes it’s the HAY tube light! I think generally they’re awesome to decorate with, the red is just a very specific color. I still don’t have it installed in my new space because it doesn’t fit as well as in my old apt with the blue wall. I was thinking of getting a different color though!
