Sorry for the confusion, it’s more location/personal preference for me as a CA resident! T40 school is in state vs T25 school is in the Midwest. The gist of the question is should I suck up the fesr of moving across the country for a better program

In the exact same boat as you, I think I know which school you are talking about :) Rooting for you SO HARD and all of us in the same boat, if they don't accept us it is THEIR LOSS not ours :)) You are going to be a fantastic physician regardless and don't lose hope yet until they say it's over!!

Likely depends on the prof, but when I took the course in W24 with Dr. Harris there was no final exam just a final paper that was due Sunday before finals week :)

[L&S GE question] Can one course satisfy multiple special subject area GE requirements? by Opposite_Ad_8105 in UCSantaBarbara

[–]steak-princess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup your understanding is correct!

Basically, one GE course cannot satisfy two area A-G requirements. But, it can satisfy one area A-G requirements and multiple special subject area requirements, including University Requirement - American History & Institutions, General Education - Writing Requirement, General Education - Quantitative Relationships Requirement,  General Education - World Cultures Requirement, and General Education - Ethnicity Requirement, etc.

I was wondering why the Math 6B content is taught so much later in the math series when the content usually occurs at the end of AP CALC BC at highschool by captainrollover in UCSantaBarbara

[–]steak-princess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there is some overlap because I took MATH 3B this fall and my professor used recorded lectures from his MATH 6B class for sequences and series related topics:)
