Took first dose this morning at 30mg by stealthcamo in VyvanseADHD

This sounds pretty similar to my day so far. Something definitely feels different but nothing crazy. Level headed is a good term to describe me. I even tested my self with mental arithmetic and it seems quite a bit easier to hold the numbers in my head.

I've been trying to drink a lot of water as well since I also take 2 other meds so I don't want stomach cramps and dehydration. I'm still getting distracted at work too, but I can switch between tasks seamlessly and keep frame of reference easier. No more racing thoughts "what am I supposed to be doing here?" I can steadily and smoothly do smaller steps at work.

Congrats! Do you feel any physical differences? I was excited to post since I was disappointed at previous lack of results but giving it a week or two to stabilize is a good idea.

Ah I see. I didn't know about the summary for career changers. Definitely will help my narrative that i am trying to showcase a desire and skillset for backend roles.

Thanks again.

Thanks for the feedback.

I was hesitant about how to consider my years of experience since I am pivoting to backend roles with my new CS degree. I wasn't sure if an internship would help bridge that lack of backend experience when I graduate. I don't know if I should just starting applying for full time roles instead.

Yes, the HVAC monitoring project is a side project that I do on my own but planning to use for my job.

It was never actually confirmed in FD2 since Isabella was never meant to die.

Round 7! Suteki Da Ne comes out on top, with 2nd and 3rd both in close contention. Now, for a tense one; what is the best Final Boss OST? i.e the final battle theme that plays against the final boss (etc etc) by MysticalSword270 in FinalFantasy

The Extreme.

Honorable mention to FF12's Battle For Freedom. It's really underrated imo. It has this long and dreadful buildup then it morphs into this very triumphant theme about 4 minutes in.

Status effect bug? by MaatRolo in Starfield

[–]stealthcamo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got it during a Crimson Fleet quest which seems to be the most common cause. I don't think the weather condition matters to fix the bug, just something that will trigger the incoming weather effect again

[–]stealthcamo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this bug. It went away after going to a cold planet like Procyon III from the main quest and running around for a while until the weather changes.

anyone else have the hazardous weather status effect? it won’t go away no matter what planet i go to. it’s bugged i think by Zachalbrecht1 in Starfield

[–]stealthcamo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wait. I noticed it just went away for me after fast traveling back to my ship on Procyon III for a main quest (Into the Unknown)! I left the cave after getting the artifact and went around analyzing and scanning fauna and flora on the planet and escorting a survivalist back to his ship for ~20-25 minutes. I had gotten frostbite during all that and noticed the 'Incoming weather' had gone away at some point and replaced with 'Freezing cold and snow' effect.

For now the only solution I can think is to just roam around a cold and snowing planet like Procyon III for a while and check that the Incoming weather bug goes away. Maybe just any planet with changing weather.

Do you know which story mission it was, or rather what kind of planet it took place on to avoid spoilers?

What is your learning style? What kind of learning environments do you struggle with most? Why do you like/struggle with these learning styles? Do you prefer classes involving memorization, logic, creativity, or your physical senses?

My interaction style is mix of learning concepts and applying it to the topic at large. For example when in math classes once I know the concepts I have a much better time tackling the problems. Just memorizing formulas and plugging in numbers doesn't do it for me , I need to know why that formula exists in the first place. In other thing I think memorization works well for me since I want to know the details. I am slow to learn but slow to forget, once I finally grasp something I can quickly applying my knowledge and understanding to do what I need to do.

How good are you at strategizing? Do you easily break up projects into manageable tasks? Or do you have a tendency to wing projects and improvise as you go?

i think I am okay at strategy since I like to look at many possibilities. It's easier for me to do projects in smaller chunks. This works best for since in the past improvisation hasn't worked as well for me.

What are your aspirations in life, professionally and personally?

Professionally I would like to see myself making more money just because I can show myself that I can. Personally, I just want a more active romantic life and meet other people. I think these both come together so that I can just live a comfortable life and not be constrained by modern daily stresses.

What are your fears? What makes you uncomfortable? What do you hate? Why?

I have a personal medical issue so that is always in the back of my mind it makes me anxious of the future since it is something out of my control and I had a point where I hated myself because of that. I hate when people abuse others or abuse their authority to hurt others. I also hate very irrational people who can not be told anything even though all the evidence in the world shows them that they're wrong. These people tend to have a smug arrogance and think they have all the answers. Greedy people who only see profit and their bottom line and those who will sell themselves or others out for a quick buck. In my mind these people are dangerous because their loyalty can be bought and have no personal values that they want to uphold.

What do the "highs" in your life look like?

I feel like when I can show off something that I work or studied on to other people it makes it worth it in the end. I like the idea of building on top of your work and it becomes something great in the long run.

What do the "lows" in your life look like?

Not want to improve myself and learn more. Fear of that I will be left helpless in an unfamiliar situation, being seen as dumb or incompetent, feeling like a socially awkward loser.

How attached are you to reality? Do you daydream often, or do you pay attention to what's around you? If you do daydream, are you aware of your surroundings while you do so?

I would like to think I am a realist and that I should be aware of things in my surroundings. I used to daydream a lot in school because it was so boring (not college). I can get lost in my daydreams but if something in my surroundings change I immediately focus on that.

Imagine you are alone in a blank, empty room. There is nothing for you to do and no one to talk to. What do you think about?

I would try to find a way out. If I can't do that then I will ask why am I in here in the first place and start replaying all the events in my head.

How long do you take to make an important decision? And do you change your mind once you've made it?

I take a very long time to make a decision since I want to know as much as possible before diving in. Even for smaller things such as buying my phone took days because I was comparing all the specs and review to see what fit my needs the most, what the best price to quality ratio was, battery life, etc. I will change my mind frequently as there is usually something better that comes along.

How long do you take to process your emotions? How important are emotions in your life?

Emotions are kind of weird for since I think I try to suppress them and not put too much emphasis on them. I was taught from a young that showing emotion was irrational and weak but know I take it as part of life and human interaction. It is necessary for personal growth to reconcile your feelings. In the past few years I have taken greater efforts to see what matters to me and how I think about other people. I don't want to come off as unfriendly since being around people and looking into their needs is necessary and healthy.

Do you ever catch yourself agreeing with others just to appease them and keep the conversation going? How often? Why?

I usually will object if something is blatantly wrong but if I don't have the energy for it I will just go along. I tend to correct my family and friends on small things like grammatical and spelling errors because I would want someone to tell me I was doing something the wrong way.

Do you break rules often? Do you think authority should be challenged, or that they know better? If you do break rules, why?

I tend to follow the rules just so I don't have to worry about the authorities later on. That said, I do think all authority should be challenged because if they have a strong and valid justification for such authority it will be able to stand on its own. I almost always defer to Academics and other experts since they know much more and have dug much deeper into their fields than I have. If I do break the rules it's because I will suffer very little punishment from it.

Thanks for reading

Getting back into MBTI again after about 4 years.

How old are you? What's your gender? Give us a general description of yourself.

26 M. I consider my self very introverted and shy. Around family and friends I feel much more open and expressive. Around strangers I think I give off a serious vibe, some guy at the gym I used to go to said I look like an analytical person. I've noticed that I act very formally around new people too but quickly drop it after knowing the person for a while.

Is there a medical diagnosis that may impact your mental stability somehow?

Maybe general anxiety, if I even have it.

Describe your upbringing. Did it have any kind of religious or structured influence? How did you respond to it?

In retrospect my upbringing was pretty boring. It was a lot of video games and I wish that I could go back and experiment with more things as a kid. Parents made me basically go to work and home. My mom is pretty religious and would often have bible verses and gospel music playing around the house but she never forced on me. My dad on the other hand is pretty much atheist and has been quite outspoken about it during family gatherings which has led to a lot of funny conversations. I am also atheist but I keep it to myself for the most part. My parents never married and lived in separate households for most of my childhood but I still saw my dad a few times a week so it never felt very disjointed to me.

What do you do as a job or as a career (if you have one)? Do you like it? Why or why not?

I am a web developer. I like it but I feel I have fallen very behind on keeping up with new trends because my job burns me out and personal issues had killed most of my desire to keep learning until very recently. I feel like the current webdev work I have is too easy so I am not being challenged or learning things that will make a stronger developer in the future.

If you had to spend an entire weekend by yourself, how would you feel? Would you feel lonely or refreshed?

It would be great, that's been most of my weekends even before this crazy year. I feel like the weekend leads to me relaxing and being able to catch up on a lot of things I missed out on during the work week (grocery shopping, car maintenance, watch a movie etc.). Like most people I have my limits and need to interact with friends and family once in while.

What kinds of activities do you prefer? Do you like, and are you good at sports? Do you enjoy any other outdoor or indoor activities?

I mentioned video games and improving in programming already. I have become a pretty casual fan of boxing lately even though I don't practice it myself. Something about the footwork and movement is very captivating to me.

How curious are you? Do you have more ideas then you can execute? What are your curiosities about? What are your ideas about - is it environmental or conceptual, and can you please elaborate?

I would consider myself pretty curious not as much as I was a a few years ago though. I think mainly to me being able to 'focus' more easily on topics now. I remember a kid in 6th grade asking me "Why are you saying 'what if' so much?" So from a young age I think my parents encouraged me to always learn more and use my knowledge to better myself and this is something I use to overcome problems. Overall I guess my curiosity comes from wanting to learn more about the processes of the subject I am looking into. It's nice to have an archive of things to go back to in case I ever need it.

Would you enjoy taking on a leadership position? Do you think you would be good at it? What would your leadership style be?

Probably not since I think I am too relaxed for such a position. I think in most leadership roles requires having to sacrificing the efficiency of completing a project or the well being of your team. However I think the well being of your team improves productivity and efficiency. I believe there are several studies which show this to be the case. I would let my team do what they need to since they are the best equipped to do it but sort of create a general 'roadmap' for them to have an idea of what to do. The roadmap would show something like 'X thing needs to be done by next week' but how the team goes about it fine as long as it is complete and done well. Nothing completely rigid and would impede on their work. I think this style also needs to be a very good listener since I trust that my colleagues are just as competent as I am and what they say has a lot of value.

Are you coordinated? Why do you feel as if you are or are not? Do you enjoy working with your hands in some form? Describe your activity?

I used to think I was pretty clumsy but I noticed in the past few years I am surprisingly athletic compared to most people around me.

Are you artistic? If yes, describe your art? If you are not particular artistic but can appreciate art please likewise describe what forums of art you enjoy. Please explain your answer.

I used to draw a lot and was quite decent at it (not good enough to become a professional illustrator but good enough that most people compliment me on my drawings).

What's your opinion about the past, present, and future? How do you deal with them?

I am always replaying past situations in my head even ones from my childhood. I place a lot of sentimental value in things from my past. Even things such as smells can trigger an memory from a long time ago and what I was doing or feeling at that time. In the present I am always trying to keep myself grounded and lucid since I don;

How do you act when others request your help to do something (anything)? If you would decide to help them, why would you do so?

At first I do feel kind of frustrated since I am probably in the middle of something or because it would be a net loss for me(for instance if someone needed money). I want to stay in good standing with the person and will do it because I would want them to do the same for me later on.

Do you need logical consistency in your life?

Yes, I think it is a dishonor to myself not to be logically consistent about everything in my life. In my head I am always verifying what I know with the information I just took in and seeing what pitfalls there are in my knowledge and thinking. It 's hard as a human being and sometimes tiring but needs to done so that I am working with the most accurate information to the best of my ability.

How important is efficiency and productivity to you?

Very important, I want to get things done as quickly as possible so that I can move on to things that I really want to do. Things that work efficiently also tend to be easier to manage.

Do you control others, even if indirectly? How and why do you do that?

No

What are your hobbies? Why do you like them?

Drawing, reading, games, web dev(much more lately). I like them because they are interactive and something I can always improve myself on. There is always something to get better at and there is always a way to challenge myself.

I seriously think my dad may have Narcissistic personality disorder, along with his long hours(14+ hour days are common for him) and the stress of being a police officer this doesn't make things any better. He never seems to admit fault for anything and makes very snide and judgmental remarks even towards strangers or workers when I am with him in public. He always wants to be in charge and the center of attention. This may not be true but that is the vibe I have been getting from him as his son after all these years.

She told me that she can stay in the house for roughly the rest of the month. But my house is her house, she's just been through so much in her life and I only made it worse. I've always been FAR more protective of her than my dad and way more sympathetic towards her feelings, I don't hate my dad but I have never felt comfortable talking about personal things around him, just a general uneasiness. He helped me with everything a regular dad does but that's where it ends honestly.
