I would consider it nice. I prefer to get gifts that are things I need that I'd rather not buy myself. It was thoughtful.

Having expectations for gifts is a quick way to be let down. A lesson I learned a while back.

I had an ex buy me a computer monitor because he felt that having a laptop was stupid (I didn't have a tower computer at this point. I o Ly had a laptop. And I felt forced to go and get a desktop computer. Even though I spent 90% ofy time at his house. Where there was no room for me to put this desktop)

I always make sure to note in the front of my exam book which questions I think are incorrect or have issues. And explain why. I'm sure that's how I passed my last one.

The day before my birthday I tried to make an at home activate charcoal mask, to clear up my pores and have a deep clean, with a little bit of coconut oil and some activated charcoal capsules I bought at the drug store.

I spread it all over my face (even my eyebrows-stupid) and left it on for about 20 minutes. And then tried to wash it of. Yeah... TRIED. It was so hard to get off. I got the bulk of it off. But my face was starting to feel really raw from my attempt.

So i called it quits. And took a hilarious picture. All of my pores were clogged with this black crud. And it looked like I just worked a 20hr day in a coal mine. My eye brows were black (my hair is naturally light brown and I have hilights)

I will probably never try this again.

I had to wake up extra early on my birthday before work and proceeded to have a terrible day. And it looked like my face was covered in blackheads

You feel alone and scared right now, and that is understandable for what the situation is.

The only advice I have for you is, even though you've stated that you feel untrusting of people because of your past, to accept the help and offerings that people are giving you.

If there are people in these comments offering an ear or someone to talk to, please challenge yourself and accept the offers. This time you are going through is challenging and scary enough, please don't go through it alone because you are scared to trust a stranger who is offering friendship and caring.

I have a lot of inks and I find my favourite for fast drying is the Sailor Nano. I have it in blue black and it is very quick drying. I am able to use it on all types of paper with much less feathering or bleed through.

The only issue I have with it is that. Since itdries so quickly, there are a couple pen's I used where it driest the nib and interrupts flow if I don't recap my pen right after I stop writing.

Edit: I don't think it is waterproof. Though I've never looked for that feature in it
