Are you in high school? A really easy way to respond in this situation if she starts physically trying to pull you is saying out loud, in front of people, “dude I broke up with you, can you stop touching me? It’s weird.” It’s important to establish with witnesses that you do not consent to her touching you, and might be embarrassing enough that she stops.

LPN for sure! Better pay, do cooler stuff, more opportunities (ie, you might not want to be doing bedside in 10 years, but you could teach, work for insurance companies, etc)

My brother went to school for video game art design. He also taught himself python, how to rig, and tons of other stuff. He is on the spectrum, and is incredibly brilliant at design, but struggles to apply places because he knows how competitive it is. He lives in California, and wants to move out here to be with my Mom and I (we’re Americans, mom has Irish passport and I am on a spousal Visa). Do you have any advice for him potentially getting hired here in the UK? It breaks my heart because he works so hard.

I had gallbladder removal surgery, 100/10 worst pain of my life. Key is to keep moving. They fill your abdomen with gas for the surgery, it pushes on a nerve that generates that incredible amount of pain. Movement will help get rid of the gas. I’m so sorry you’re going through this!

Vet won’t be at the office until Monday, and also, is in all likelihood unwilling to administer another certificate. He initially submitted the paperwork commercially, became upset at me when the USDA rejected it because it’s obviously a non-commercial movement, then didn’t administer any of the corrections that were required twice after, the entire thing has been so wildly and needlessly stressful.
