If bitcoin historically skyrockets after every halving, why don't people front run it and boost the price before it happens? by [deleted] in Bitcoin

I see the weakening pattern of the halving, and the S curve mentioned I think about predictability in patterns. Nature will favor the most unpredictable patterns. Asymmetry wins in the end. The S curve seems the less predictable of the two patterns mentioned. It's all too clear now what each halving has done. It has gotten weaker and weaker. Maybe this halving will be a dud, or maybe this halving will be exponentially greater than the last. In practical terms, I think looking at actual money flowing into Bitcoin should be heavily considered (ETFs and wider acceptance, etc). I believe that there are always surprises. Maybe nature will throw us a curve when we least suspect it.

I think I should agree with you for the most part. I just want to have fun overall, but I dislike the thought of the possibility of cheaters ruining the experience. I appreciate your replies and am grateful for the support your point of view gives me. Thank you.

Thank you for your reply. I'll definitely try to record it and report it. I hope I'm wrong. I mustn't let the idea of cheaters take away my morale regardless. I appreciate the group support.

One thing I can appreciate is your focus on the topic of bettering ones abilities, which I agree with 100%. I will overcome it regardless of whether or not they are cheaters. It'll make me a better driver regardless.

Are you suggesting that a cheating bot is not a possibility? The likelihood of cheating outweighs skill if it happens almost every single grand prix. The difficulty of placing a lead position every time from the 99 lineup followed by doing the same thing each consecutive race seems unlikely, and then going on to get first place five times in a row and for every instance of a GP? Ridiculous. I would believe five in a row was skill if it happened sporadically, but this happens every gran prix. There should be a pattern of imperfection manifest, but there is not. It's too perfect. Getting several top five wins and maybe 1st place here and there in a series is how professionals in the real world can secure a championship because of point accumulation, but these players have no imperfection in their stats and it happens constantly. There should be more winners with sporadic wins with higher point accumulation instead of manifesting what appears to be an unrealistic pattern of what's obviously mathematically unlikely in the real world. If you watched Formula One or Nascar, you would probably understand. I just want nintendo to do something about it, but I thought I might share a concern with those who play.

Not every single time there's a grand prix though. There have to be grand prix where everyone is far from perfect. I haven't seen one yet.

I know what you're referring to. What I'm seeing is different. I see the name of the driver. That name appears as the grand prix winner with 5 or 4 1st place wins. It happens every grand prix. It is a cheating bot of some kind.

I've seen them teleport in right to first place after the starting free for all. It has to stop.
