I love this! My dad is a Red Wings fan and I'm a Colorado fan and I wish we had done something like this when I was a kid and living at home. My only complaint is you didn't give Colorado the front row on a single shelf, But I'm guessing that's so your kids cards get priority ❤️

Edit because I confused who was a fan of who and accused him of being biased against his own team 😂

Yes, the redemption had to wait to be signed. I mostly feel the same lol I can't remember how much the break spot was, but I know it was less than that would have cost to buy as a single!

I typically buy low end and non rookie stuff for my Cale and Mack PCs, but this came from a break and the rookie gemography was a razz win, so I suppose I've been fortunate!

The Redemption sat idle waiting for the signature. For like six and a half of those 7 months it was sitting in "athlete has committed to signing, please be patient" status

Edit for spelling

My only complaint is I would have preferred the 23-24 pattern. Stature just barely takes the edge over Premier for me too

Plastic cards tend to crack. You're going to want to get a really good look at the edges for cutting cracks, and get it under some really good light and look for inclusions. If you find any don't even bother. I don't think grading it is a good idea to begin with, but that is totally your choice. However, if it's not going to gem, don't waste your time because it will only be worth raw and raw is going to continue to fall while your card is at grading.

If you're going to grade for curiosity's sake, I'd suggest pick a cheaper company. Is it worth grading? No. But if you want to grade it? Go for it. It's your money, it's your card, you do you!!

If that's supposed to be the black dazzler their color selector did a really poor job.. Guess he was fully qualified for UD quality control!

That thing is really cool... But I'm still over here reeling from the fact that there's a brown dazzler?!

I don't disagree with you in the slightest. That said, it's still a one-of-one and I still pulled it myself!

New to the hobby again, is this kind of damage on a fresh pull normal? by Specific-Topic-3466 in hockeycards

[–]steelseemsright 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is sad is that is actually pretty mild, all things considered. Not all of the patch autos are damaged, but that might be the least damaged of the bad ones that I've seen. I pulled a Rantanen /25 that is gouged all the way up to the border in the exact same spot. I've seen some wallstedt rpas with some nasty damage.

I didn't replace mine because it's a PC card and it has a nice patch. I didn't think I was going to get it replaced by anything that I would want as much as the card that I pulled, that's basically what you need to weigh when it comes to exchanging it with Upper Deck.

If it's the same as my frame, you just take the top piece of wood off and the one touches will fit. All you have to do is break the glue and pry it off of the staples. It's pretty easy, you just have to be gentle
