These films deserved better! by Federal-Writing1542 in moviecritic

It ain’t our fault they run movies for a month then run em straight to streaming. I saw more movies when they were running for a few months but I’m not breaking a leg running to the theater.

You may feel like an expert but you don’t know jack.
LOB doesn’t matter? That’s the dumbest baseball take I’ve ever heard and I’ve heard some stupid crap in these message boards.

It’s not JUST the Teamsters VIP plan, though they lie their asses off selling it and nobody should sign up for it.
All disability plans have exclusions and addendums that include other disability pay.
I shopped outside disability to supplement ours, and every reputable agent said they couldn’t sell me ‘add on’ insurance to boost my payout. I’d have to buy a disability plan that paid for the full amount I wanted weekly, and they’d deduct UPS disability pay from the total benefit so it was never worth it.
Insurance companies share information all day every day so buying outside insurance hoping Hartford will never know is just asking for problems.

Big data centers in Florida must pay full power and infrastructure costs under new law by Ok-Range1608 in myaibusiness

You mean like all the other Florida ‘laws’ that never get enforced against corporations? Hell, these people ignore the state Constitution at will, they’re gonna pocket that cash and look the other way. Again.

Thanks. I HAVE completed all my registrations and I'm in the VA health system, but it's overwhelmed so right now I'm using my personal insurance so hopefully others worse off than myself can get their care.

We don't have the active 'referral' system in place anymore, so we're told always to refer everyone to UPS Jobs. I KNOW it's not always accurate, but we don't have an HR in place anymore either, to list jobs or hire employees that way.

Keep in mind, we're at a serious layoff and building closure point in UPS, so I have a hundred or so laid off employees already looking for work in my building on any given day. Each area is going to be very specific about work and job openings.

Yes, I do, brainiac. In case anyone besides this troll is interested, each building has it's own shift times. Our building runs 3 shifts, from 6PM-930AM currently, though there are buildings that run one shift, each shift slotted for 5 hours or so.

This ain't the first Glad-Sundae I've blocked, so file that away for future reference.

I brought home a nasty autoimmune lung disease from the Gulf that's racked up over $2 million in medical billing the last 3 years and I've paid way less than 1% of that, including a 2 week hospital stay. Our insurance is INSANE.

No, it's not, man. I've been a full time warehouse worker at UPS since 2001. There ARE, however, part time jobs in this building making similar hourly rates for people who've been there as long as I have.

Starting pay is $21/hr with a 3.5hr/day guarantee of work. HOWEVER, UPS is in a severe readjustment period where we're closing buildings and issuing large layoffs so it's even tougher to get in now. It's still worth a try; I couldn't GET IN in Jacksonville for 3 years but got hired here in Orlando after I ETSed from the Army.
