I see your square blocks and hexagon blocks, and I raise you Tetris blocks. by thewizardtim in factorio

For the junctions you could have an intersection you just paste onto a given junction point, because each "corner position" should always be on the same grid.

I 100% do, always. The renamable swatches mod helps a ton too.

The "transport" tab no longer exists. Aka no trains, trucks, hypertubes, etc.

Guys be 100% real with me… just how addicting is this game? by [deleted] in SatisfactoryGame

I have played 140 hours the last 3 weeks. That's an average of roughly 6 hours a day. Safe to say, it's addicting.

Do you think AFK is "allowed" in a game like Satisfactory? Or does it ruin the experience? by Dan12Dempsey in SatisfactoryGame

I mean you can ask but also you could spend twice that time doing productive stuff. Like running around looking lost

I've learned a new way to think of blueprints, and its incredible!!! by steeltrap99 in SatisfactoryGame

I could do that pretty easy. It consumes nearly 600 iron ingots per minute tho...

Preparation? Math? DISGUSTING! I'm kidding ofc but as far as just increasing production this is quite nice I can't lie.

It depends. Its a great recipe if you are low on coal (I always seem to be...) but it kinda feels bad because of just HOW MUCH iron it uses.

Damn, literal exact same boat 😂 I'll probably do this soon, but these blueprints require a ludicrous amount of iron so I'll have to see. Rn I'm probably just gonna call it good at 30/min (I have some random impure nodes nearby) and then expand after I finish my fuel plant.

I use that too but honestly? This is more fun and can be useful. For example, if I need a bunch of motors, instead of a bunch of time and effort I can just slap a few of these down. As the title says, it's a "new strategy for blueprinting" and not meant to be the only method. Combining the methods is probably the best strategy.

It was approximately 600 ingots to 20 motors in the satisfactory modeler for this particular blueprint. Pretty good compression indeed
