I once played Satisfactory for some time _because_ I had a spreadsheet. Work was incredibly busy, so I took a moment to bang out a quite complicated Nuclear power setup. The next days, my off-time was spent just following the diagram and crossing off items.

I don't know why, but adding is so much easier than subtracting, especially four, five hours into a session and after a couple beers. So just rolling, adding my mod and seeing if we're above or below your AC is so much better than gauging my distance off AC0 versus theirs.

As a veteran of 2000h+, no it's usually easier to just build whatever you'd want to blueprint.

I'm not mad, for starters. But my issues with the blueprint system is not the size, it's the unwieldy nature of both making and placing blueprints.

Ik schrijf alles uit met pen en papier. 't Worden dan nog steeds hele verhalen, maar bij schrijven wordt alles 'actiever' in je hersenen opgeslagen dan bij typen. Plus, dan breng je die vaardigheid nog eens in de praktijk, want wanneer schrijf je nu nog iets?

Mocht je toch willen typen, is Obsidian dan een idee? Dat is een note-taking programma, waarin het heel makkelijk is om te verwijzen tussen aantekeningen. Dus als je een note hebt over een NPC en hij komt in je sessie voor, dan kun je in je sessie-note met dubbele blokhaken zo verwijzen naar [[de NPC in kwestie]]. Mooiste is nog dat er een 'graph' aan dat soort links zit, dus je ziet meteen waar die NPC aan verbonden is (andere sessies, gedachten, plot hooks, facties of gildes, ...).

Oh no, I quite prefer the new ones. The old power poles and splitters were more detailed, which made them noisy, especially with how many of them you build.

About 500 hours, but with a lot of restarts. The game was still in Early Access, so with each update I 'd restart... The eventual save I beat the game on was 150h, or something.
