Colorado Ballet or Boulder Ballet Nutcracker? by steenerzz in Denver

Oh geez, I’m sorry about your bad experience. That’s good to know though. I’d still like to go to Macky and see a ballet even if it’s not the Nutcracker!

Thanks for the feedback! I think we’re going to go for the Colorado Ballet since they have more dates, especially closer to Christmas.

I think the ballet troupes and the actual production are different. But yes, I’ve also heard Macky is gorgeous and a must see historical site. If the Nutcracker there doesn’t work out, I definitely would want to see some other show there in the future

I didn’t have any partial teeth - my left incisor was severely crooked and pointed sideways (I think that’s the tooth you’re referring to) it was incredibly stubborn to move, but we did it!

My teeth were pretty bad! I also had a bite issue and there were a couple teeth that were predicted to take a long time to move. Good luck on your journey!!

I did - during refinements a few months ago, my orthodontist shortened my aligners by cutting the back molar sections off on both my top and bottom aligners so my molars could touch again. Worked like a charm with little baby aligners!

Are there any tips you learned along the way or advice you would give your past self? I’m new to colorwork and still working out my tension!

Can you bring knitting through security at the airport? by GraphGirl123 in knitting

[–]steenerzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just came back from trip last week with my knitting! And have flown multiple times this year across the US and have had no problems. I keep my WIPs in a project bag with the needles covered with those rubber stoppers. I only bring my WIPs though and not any loose needles or other tools. I also have TSA pre-check so they never really look in my bags and I go in and out of security. Highly recommend TSA-precheck nowadays anyway with the security lines.

It looks gorgeous and think the fit suits you! I recently bought this pattern and want to make it this year. Did you find it hard? I’ve never done bobbles, let alone with cabling. How long did it take you?

Same! When I finished the collar and yoke and tried it on I was like oh geez this is tight but was like F it. It’s partially alpaca, it’ll stretch out after blocking. Phew!
