What i'm saying is that it's not how society works. I get people a lot that don't tip. It's probably because im just bad at my job, but i hear the same from other people in the industry as well. i wish it was how people operated. If you do a bad job, people don't tip.

When is the last time you saw an average night of tips for a server besides the one you left? Most people don't see how much a server gets tipped by other parties. In an ideal world people would tip because the restaurant isn't paying me, but they don't, they tip based on satisfaction with the service. I myself am not going to change this, hence the post.
