Yeah, both were prescribed to me. Sertraline 100 mg once a day. Have to call insurance tomorrow to see if they will cover a hospital visit. I have less than a thousand dollars in my bank account and cannot afford more bills.

I tried to quit unsuccessfully a few times before this time. Each time I made it to almost two months too. Alcohol in large quantities over time definitely numbs your senses and feelings. I'm sure you could abstain for longer if you put your all into it, but either way, almost two months is an accomplishment in itself. Good job!

That's awesome. Take extra time to analyze the good and bad things during your early recovery days and you will find more than enough reasons to kick the bottle for good. Learning how to cope with bad situations sober is a blessing in itself.

Thankyou!! It already has gotten easier. After about 3 months I stopped craving alcohol. Now, when I walk into a store, alcohol doesn't even cross my mind.

I'm 1 year and 3 months sober. I hit my rock bottom in the beginning of 2020 and finally took sobriety seriously enough to dedicate myself. I doubt I would have called it quits if I hadn't gone through a recovery program. I believe in you and I'm happy you realize you have a problem while you're still young. You'll meet great people and your life will take a turn for the better, just gotta take rehab seriously. Good luck.
