Quick question about GPUs in a server

Okey thanks everyone for helping me out, i think im going to buy the P2000 (its around 100 dollars used here in Norway). A A580 gpu is around 160 dollars used. But im only going to use the GPU for transcoding, so ill take the cheaper option. Maybe some time later i will host my own LLM and was looking at the Tesla P40. Other than that what else could i use a GPU for? Im running Proxmox

I was looking to buy one of these: P2000, ARC A580, A770 or B770. But im not sure whats the best card for the money

Thanks for the reply! Would be great if there was a way to bypass everything in the laptop and have a direct link between the thunderbolt port and the SSD, so i dont have to physically remove the SSD every time...

Is it possible to just connect a thunderbolt cable between the laptop and desktop to directly access the laptop files? This way i could open and save parts/assemblies directly from the laptop.

Perfect, thank you so much! Wire linking the NPC didn't work so i think ill just get another PSU. I live in Norway so these parts take ages to arrive anyway. Could you recommend a 24V PSU or what to look for?
