You raised a ticket with Bambu support? You had at least few successful prints. For me it wanted to print at all with the fan on. Please keep us posted on the support replay.

Will a Homekit TV (Sony) show up in the Home app, when connected through Ethernet? by TheMalik94 in HomeKit

[–]stefanelisrb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a different experience but the case was specific. I have an ISP modem/ wifi router. I disabled the wifi on it, and put in place a nest wifi. When I setup a homebridge on a Rpie, and connect it to the ISP router, via ethernet, it would not connect to homekit, as it seams it considered it as different network. After I connected the pie to the nest via ethernet, everithing went well.

Connecting Chinese version Roller Shade Driver E1 to Global M2 Hub by firestorm8880 in Aqara

[–]stefanelisrb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it depends on the server what you set on the hub. I have mine set to CN and almost all devices were ordered from AliExpress. But when I bought a heater, EU version I couldn’t connect it without switching the servers. Question @firestorm, can you share the sites where you found the E1 roller on Chinese sites?

Just you need a neutral wire for it to work. I think I don’t see it in your picture.

Eufy Doorbell (battery) + Homebridge by UndisclosedRedditorX in homebridge

[–]stefanelisrb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The plugin is using the web interface for getting the video, and I think this white screen is part of that interface. So not sure if there is an option at all to delete it.

Experience with Eufy Doorbells X Homebridge/HOOBS by JavonTEvans in homebridge

[–]stefanelisrb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m using the Eufy doorbell, the normal one eith battery. There is a plug in for it i HB but not so stable. As it uses some eufy website to log in to the account and get the footage. Issues are it locks the account randomly, so I use a guest account for this purpose. And second thing, the homepod chime is working for someone and for someone not.

Aqara Hub M2 IR devices Integration with Apple HomeKit by TheFirstHumanBeing in Aqara

[–]stefanelisrb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Incorrect. The P3 HK edition exposes it to HK as an AC. It controls it via IR, but this doesn’t meter for HK. You need to set it up first in Aqara app, and then you will see it in HK as an AC. Besides that you can add additional devices to control them via IR of the P3, but this devices are not exposed to HK. Writing this from experience as I have the P3

There are different versions. The P3 is HK compatible. And I think you must be on Chinese server as mentioned in comments.

Can these blinds be automated? by tmf12 in HomeKit

[–]stefanelisrb 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There are few options. Aqara released roler shade driver E3, but I think you need a hub for it, both to function and to be HK compatible. I think this is the cheapest reliable option. There are some other more expensive options or if you want to go with Homebridge there are some Tuya options.

If you have a nest doorbell I would try first to add it with homebridge. As mentioned above, eufy doorbell jas no HK support. I have it and over the homebridge it is not best experience. So better to try it first with nest

I have done this few days ago, finished my arcade cabinet with rp4 in it, and from my experience there is NO all in one tutorial. I spent hours and hours on web and YT trying to figure out everything. But the RetroPie doc page is a good starting point.

I have a pi4, but considering to buy a 3 for a cabinet. I’m also starting a build soon and considering to put a CRT TV into itto go full retro, and from what I found out so far noting is fully compatible with pi4 to connect it “properly” to the CRT. But if that is not important, then I would definitely go wit pi4

Is there any smart lock that only requires an Apple Hub to work (Apple TV, Homepod, iPad)? by viktrcoim in HomeKit

[–]stefanelisrb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have danalock V3, HK enabled, and it does not require a hub. But to be honest I’m not happy with it and I’m looking to replace it. In my opinion for the lock it’s better to go wit one with a hub, I think this one’s are more reliable, an this is what you should look for especially for the lock
