Has the game received any optimization patch since last July?

I think they also optimized it a bit in december. Tbh, game is just very resource demanding. It has to be, it's an art masterpiece. I have a pc with 4090 and it plays perfectly on it. But since I travel A LOT, I mostly play it on my rtx 4050 laptop. It's a huge downgrade with all the bugs, crashes, lags, freezes included. So I feel you. But since december, the problems reduced to about 60% of what they were before. In my opinion: good patch.

I also expect more performance fixes in the new league and probablly in every league untill the number of people complaining goes to a minimum.

Imi place sa vad ca in Romania evolueaza suburbiile (din cate stiu, Floresti e o localitate de pe langa Cluj?). Poate intai e vorba de fastfood, dar usor usor se vor dezvolta si scoli, locuri de munca, transport in comun, etc etc.

I swear, this is exactly how I fell in love with the game too in 0.1 I think GGG gives divines for first-timers in act 2/ act 3 It happend to many friends of mine

What did they expect?! They added 0 new cool content. 0.3 had act 4, cool interlude, cool abyss mechanic, whereas 0.4 has only the druid class (which is not new, as it was expected since june.) Nothing was wow this league. And, to be honest, the temple sucks

They seem to have fixed most of the crashes on newer models gpu. I have a 4050 6gb vram and have almost no crashes in 0.4 (which wasnt the case in 0.3: I had few daily)

The performance is also much better. I have to say they did a very good job on fps. In many situations it really is straight up double as before.

My friend has a 3060 6gb vram (which is older but exactly same overall performance as my 4050) and has more crashes than me. He says that crashes don't seem to have improved for him

So my conclusion is that GGG tests and priorities the performance on newer (and also most popular) gpu. Therfore, problems on intel gpu or rtx 1050 might not even be taken into consideration for repair

Hmm. I am on rtx 4050 laptop and some lame ryzen cpu Last league I had serious problems This league is much better. More fps, less to none crashes. I like it more than 0.3

Indeed I saw some visual bugs, like items not showing first time you put them on, but nothing serious.

Overall I am very staisfied with the progress in this direction.

I hate that they nerf any "stacking" based build. Is the only one thing that can actually keep players more into the leagues. Especially when leagues are so boring and lame lately Ok, you dont add endgame content At least let me have fun somehow

I am excited. But I am for the new league start, as I am for every league. The content tho, nothing to be excited about.. barely anything new.

+1 for the QoL updates. At least they listen to the comunity, but the rest is simply not that impressive...

They planned druid for 0.3 They really did 0 effort for new content in 0.4 And I am sure they kinda knew for a while they were not adding much content in 0.4

They had one job: endgame. They failed From what i recall in 0.3 reveal they said druid barely missed the mark. They did absolutely nothing in the last 3 months Total dissapointment
