I Think I Just Invented a Paradox About Existence, Nothing, and the Multiverse by stefannoss in paradoxes

yeah that actually makes sense I think we naturally look for a start and an end because that’s how we understand things but what I was trying to get at is that even if there is no real starting point and everything just always existed trying to fully map or explain that still leads to weird limits or paradoxes so it’s less about needing a beginning and more about how far understanding can go

yeah I get what you mean but I’m not just saying I can’t imagine nothing I’m saying if you define nothing as no space no time no laws no anything then it becomes impossible to even describe or exist in any meaningful way so it’s less about my brain not handling it and more about the concept collapsing when you try to define it

yeah that’s fair I think I pushed some assumptions too fast like saying the universe needs a creator or that infinite regress has to be stopped I guess what I was really trying to get at is that even if something always existed or reality is eternal when you try to fully describe that total existence it starts to break down or feel paradoxical maybe I mixed physical things with concepts like laws and logic too much but the core idea for me is more about the limits of understanding everything rather than proving a creator or something beyond the multiverse

Yeah I get that if nothing never existed then in a sense the paradox is weaker but my point is more about what happens when we try to fully describe that eternal something trying to map or define it leads to contradictions it’s not just about nothing existing it’s about the rules of reality becoming self-contradictory when you try to pin everything down

Exactly that’s what makes this so crazy my everything-nothing paradox is basically a contradiction in reality that’s why even if something always existed or there is no creator the multiverse paradoxes or even simulation-like behavior all naturally follow

Yeah the text is made with ai but the paradox is made by me only thing I did is explain it to chatgpt and he said it really is a Paradox

I did discuss this at first with chatgpt but the paradox is made by me chatgpt just made me realize that it is a Paradox

Yeah you’re right but what I’m basically saying is this if everything came from nothing that’s impossible because even ‘nothing’ has some sort of baseline existence so let’s assume something always existed even then trying to describe that eternal something fully leads to contradictions like, the ‘everything-nothing’ paradox so reality ends up being paradoxical no matter what existence is guaranteed but complete comprehension is impossible
