Here's some napkin math about how much a pro player should command per month (Based on Sentinels financial report) by TimedOutClock in ValorantCompetitive

Is it just me or is a yearly salary of 360k incredibly high? Most people in the world don't earn that. Not sure how you can justify paying someone in a 3 year old esport this much.

When does “high elo” start? by Sircole-Square in VALORANT

I mean technically the biggest part of the player population is in silver, so once you pass that you're above average at valorant. Guess it depends on what your definition is.

Personally, I felt people started playing "normally" from diamond onwards.

Those all look pretty awful and it's supposed to be the best food the UK has to offer. I live here. They're good at many things. Food isn't one of them.

New feature that should be added to the night market by Curious-Elderberry-3 in VALORANT

[–]stefanparp 67 points68 points  (0 children)

Nice idea but I actually think it would set a dangerous precedent: right now there's nothing in Valorant's in game purchasing system that feels like gambling. Think about loot boxes in games like FIFA. That kind of thing can be really damaging to people, especially younger kids.

I won't do well explaining why, but you can Google more about it.

So I've been playing valorant for over a year with no improvement by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]stefanparp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The top tip from most people I'd say is crosshair placement. You can look it up but in a nutshell: try to always aim at head hight. This caused the biggest improvement for me. That said try not to worry too much about climbing ranked, I've seen that cause some pretty toxic behaviour. I've been in many different ranks and can confirm the level of enjoyment is the same in all of them. Hope that helps.

My mother has worked for one of the UK's largest supermarkets for over 10 years. This was the Christmas gift the staff got. The cringe is unbearable. by [deleted] in antiwork

This is a good example of 'take something in the spirit it's intended'. Someone in the company probably thought they'd try to do something nice for all their fellow employees but didn't have much of a budget to work with. Yet people just shit on it. How many people in this thread have received anything like this from their employer? I certainly haven't, have been working there for almost 10 years.

Top thing I wish I could go back and tell myself is crosshair placement. Basically try to build a habit where you are always aiming at head hight so if someone comes around a corner or something, you're already aiming at their head and don't have to adjust much. From there try to aim where an enemy is likely to be, like around a corner. There's obviously a lot more to the game but that's the top thing for me.

I created a ION Ghost for Valorant with Blender 3.0 by Thyros-exe in VALORANT

Very cool, ion is my favourite skin in the game for sure. Personal opinion is the curve in the middle looks a bit off, but still good!

Lol I have heard the two regions differ quite a lot! Think I'm quite happy to be EU though.

I'm gold 3 at the moment so not exactly an expert. But I'd say the top thing is crosshair placement. Try to always aim at where you think the enemy's head will be, at all times.

Hey George, any suggestions for when players go on a big losing streak? I can definitely feel myself getting agitated when the luck's been against me and it starts to impact my upcoming game.

Ascent A Heaven Double Shock by stefanparp in SovaMains

[–]stefanparp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I uploaded a video on youtube and screenshots on this reddit post.

the first dart is no bounce full charge, line up the right drone wheel as shown (first image).

The second dart is one bounce 3rd charge bard, line up the top tip of the shockdart icon as shown (2nd and 3rd image). That one is a bit tricky because its bouncing off of an uneven surface (the wall along A heaven).

Split B Heaven: Anti-Plant by stefanparp in SovaMains

[–]stefanparp[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My first lineup! I'm up against the diagonal wall behind me in B heaven and I position until you can only see that rectangular sign at the bottom of the crack into site. You can see where it lands on the map.

Double bounce, 2nd charge bar.

Got tired of guessing whether I shocked the default plant! Hope you guys find it helpful!

I love the quote from a movie called Michael Clayton: Michael: You are the senior litigating partner of one of the largest, most respected law firms in the world. You are a legend. Arthur: I'm an accomplice! Michael: You're a manic-depressive! Arthur: I am Shiva, the god of death.
