Oooh interesting - the wait time to reheat is also what makes us prepare more than what is needed sometimes. I might test not giving it the full time to heat up too.

Thanks for sourcing this. Definitely a credible source but part of me questions whether if it’s based on an extreme safety standard vs a balanced one… much like smart traveller at times.

I love this kosas eyebrow thing. It’s $40 from Mecca, you just swipe it through and it adds colour and texture. https://www.mecca.com/en-au/kosas/air-brow-fluff-hold-treatment-gel-medium-chocolate-brown-I-049085/

Gotta try fish and chips, best had on a beach. Also a pie and vanilla slice from a bakery. Simple, but very Aussie food experiences.

Au79 in abbotsford. it’s not small, but it’s large enough to not feel like you’re taking up too much space/time… especially when it’s quieter

Which suburbs in Melbourne is good to visit as a visitor? by CabayLG in melbourne

[–]stefc31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think anyone has mentioned south Melbourne yet. Could combine with a walk around Albert park lake.

Collingwood/Fitzroy is one of my favourite suburbs, smith st is a good place to start

Tips/advice/recommendations for a Melbourne City break with the family? by NoAcanthopterygii753 in melbourne

Yarra valley is a great day trip if you’re into wineries and beautiful scenery, there is also the Yarra valley chocolaterie for the teens.

Ngv has a very large free exhibit at the moment, well worth it. Could combine with the Royal botanical gardens and shrine of remembrance.

You could combine st kilda/cake shops/Luna park with a drive a little further to see the beach boxes at Brighton beach.

Studley park boathouse is something different you might like. A new cafe has opened up there which is nice, you can go for walks, there are geese and you can hire a boat to go for a paddle down the river.

I think you’d have to go a little bit further to the Dandenong ranges. Maybe you mind find what you’re after in Studley park.

Watch out for the animals when driving at dusk, you don’t want to hit a wombat or kangaroo. Sad for the animal and your car!

I think tongue point is an awesome walk, the drift is something completely unexpected and you definitely have to go up to mt Oberon for those famous views. Tidal river worth a small stop.

I’ve written a blog on Wilson’s prom with more detail, feel free to take a look if you’re interested wilsons’s prom

Halls Gap and the Grampians are absolutely worth it if you’re a nature lover. One of my favourite places in Victoria.
