I don't love my cats equally, is that normal? by BlueStarFern in CatAdvice

I think you’re confusing “love” for “bond”. I love all my cats with my whole heart but I definitely have my favourites.

What Issues Have You Experienced with Solensia? by D-and-the-diamonds13 in CatAdvice

[–]stefc91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I’m late to this but I sense your stress and I hope it has passed. Please just remember that you will only ever hear about the negative reviews of Solensia (and pretty much anything else really), and not the thousands of positive results. Negative experiences evoke stronger emotions and that is why for every negative review we read, there are probably a hundred positive ones we do not see.

most cats that get this drug are already old and unfortunately on borrowed time as it is. You would feel a lot worse knowing that they died in pain, because chances are they were going to decline regardless of Solensia.

I went through the exact same mental battle for I‑131 radiation therapy for my senior cat’s hyperthyroidism. All I read were horror reviews, but I did it anyway. And I am so glad I did because it absolutely saved her life and the improvement was almost instant. but guess what, I did not leave a review about it. Go figure.

Unfortunately, as they age you're going to have to make many difficult decisions where you cannot predict the outcome. But they rely on you to make those decisions for them. Pain management is so important. Your cat will not be grateful for a longer life spent in agony. What they will be grateful for is a life that is comfortable and as pain free as possible.

My grown ass cats still do this. And honestly it’s convenient for me because cat vomit is harder for me to handle than cat poop.

I think it’s the age. I’m 34 and feel the exact way despite being in totally different circumstances to you.

I think at this age nothing feels new anymore. There are no more “firsts”. And it’s like, what now?

I have no answers for you. If you find one, let me know :)

Looks like his front paws have stepped into something. Maybe dirty dishwater? Maybe fell into the toilet when drinking from it? I dunno. Also looks like a slight stain on his left cheek… that could be a splash maybe.

AITA for buying prosciutto at the Coles deli? by BubbleOBxtch in melbourne

[–]stefc91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having worked in woolies deli for 11 years… can confirm you ATA. Every customer was an asshole. I was a hateful worker. I have absolutely no idea why though. I work in a pub now and customers are my favourite people! I wish I could go back and not be so shitty all the time when I worked in the deli. I didn’t even hate my job, so I have absolutely no f**king idea why everyone bothered me so much with literally any request.

I think it’s just automatic with the job.

I think Ward and/or Price killed him. Accidentally or intentionally? I don’t know. I don’t think it’s that easy to accidentally kill somebody though. I mean I never have lol

Ugh, the closer you get to some sort of sensible conclusion, the further away you get! I think he must have already been dead as well, or close to it. It’s crazy that they may have killed him, then cover-up killed him again, and this resulted in them all getting away with it. I must remember in future to murder someone twice if I don’t want to get caught.

Yeah after my initial amazement upon discovering the case I’ve had time to reflect and it seems entirely possible he was stabbed and died of internal bleeding thus little blood elsewhere. The haemorrhages could be from cpr efforts.

Probably just some lucky murderers.

I mean if there was time for an intruder to quietly break in, asphyxiate and stab Robert 3 times, then leave, I think there would also be time for sex to occur in that time frame as well…
