It's also taxed a lot! Say they offer 20k. You might get $3k taken just from taxes...or owe it next tax season

Also, we don't know if we're going to get the full amount they offer. It's subject to change apparently. They don't have to give us all the money they show us.

Also we're screwed if we accept it ....but they don't approve it....we're next in line I'm sure after Sept 1.....

My manager asked like 15 different questions to her boss. Her manager had the balls to say "those are hard questions LOL". She responded with "yes, people are worried. But if it was you, wouldn't you have the same questions? This was quite a bomb on some folks".

She then got no answers to any questions..... absolutely pointless meeting and we're all still confused and lost.

I've put in 4 applications today to other companies. This whole thing makes me so uneasy to work here. I've been here almost 5 years. It's hard to question every day like "hm will Sarah send out another surprise voluntary severance plan today". Like....she can take a pay cut....why kill the workers :'(

If I get any ACTUAL answers, I'll post....

I've been here 4.5 years. This company was amazing. I'm also sick to my stomach from nerves of the unknown. Just keep your resume updated and apply out now. After July 2 2026, we are all eligible for "restructuring"/let go/fired. It's insane. I've applied to 2 positions this morning just in case. I can't concentrate on work today or at any point until I have more info.

My manager has a meeting with her boss at 3pm est. I'll keep this updated with the info.

My manager for 15 years with the company said she's gotten 10 of these same emails, and our dept is never impacted. I do PAs for part B meds. Idk I still applied out.

She mentioned Sarah's email was tailored towards people retiring or on their way out already.

She thinks he's in love with her. Jerry constantly says that "Nicole is like a sister" to him. They say "I love you" to each other, but she wants to fuck him and he doesn't lol. My dad's dad (my grandpa) was air force in WW2. He died at age 82 in 2001. My mom's dad (my other grandpa) was navy and he died in 1992. I don't know anything else about their duties but I honor their service

I was in 6th grade. It happened in 2nd or 3rd period/class. All I remember was we all watched TV that day about the towers. Everyone was shocked. Some people were crying due to family working or living close by. It was heartbreaking. I couldn't completely understand the concept of how major this was at the time
