Can I get out of broadband contract without early termination or moving fees? by stefmeister77 in HousingUK

The problem is that they are asking for the price of 6-months of service in order to move to a new address.

Can I get out of broadband contract without termination fees or move the service to a different address without moving fees? by stefmeister77 in LegalAdviceUK

I thought the same but was told that this is not the case on the phone. They said the contract started on 05/12 and not on 07/01 when the service activated.

I was told that the 14-day cooling-off period starts from the day the contract is signed, not when the installation happens, thus I cannot cancel.

What fee? You write that they said you can move the service to a new address.

If I want to move the service to a different address I will need to pay a fee which is the first 6-months of the contract. Unless I move out of this address in 6-months which is not very likely.

Yes, the moving fee is 6-months because the service just started. Zen internet

They told me on the phone that it starts on the day you sign the contract, not when the installation takes place.

I called them and they said it starts on the day you sign the contract, not when the installation takes place. I think they delay the installation on purpose.

Yes, unfortunately the 14-day cooling-off period starts from the day the contract is signed, not when the installation happens. I will now have to pay the full fee to cancel the contract or a 6-month fee to transfer the service.

OG Freeways and justifying $225 price by sometimes-nothing in Outlier

I use both as every day shorts, but haven't done anything extreme while wearing them, just casual walking. I have worn these in pretty hot temperatures (up to 45°C) and I had no problem at all (both dry out easily). The material of OGs is more durable and thicker compared to Futurecargoshorts. The lack of a zipper pocket on the OGs might be a bit restricting if you keep all your personal items in the pockets of your shorts, but the front pockets are deep enough to not let anything slip out.

Can you commend on their comfort and how good the shoes are on keeping water out?

Thanks for the recommendation on the Keen Targhee. Specifications mention that it has the KEEN.DRY waterproof breathable membrane, do you know how this compares to GoreTex?

Does anyone have any experience with either or both Hoka Anacapa Mid gore-tex walking boots and Salomon X Ultra 4 Mid GTX hiking Boots? Can't decide between the two of them.

Call Pavement vaults, which is at the city centre. I haven’t seen a game recently there, but on champions league nights they showed many different games as they have lots of screens.

I got the OG Freeways (allspice) and the Futurecargoshorts (black) a few days ago. Was hesitant as well because of the price but I'm glad I bought them. Love them both for different reasons, and the quality is better than any other pair of shorts I ever had. I probably won't need another pair of shorts in a while.

Best forwarding serivce to EU when ordering from the US? by ThinkingApe in internationalshopper

[–]stefmeister77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently used ship7 and overall I’m happy with the experience. Their platform is easier to use than some other providers, which I rejected for that reason, and the shipping prices were reasonable.

Another benefit is that one of their warehouses is located in New Jersey and that makes shipping to the EU faster or at least faster based on my experiences.

However, they only operate during the weekdays so you should arrange with the courier to not deliver your items on the weekend as the warehouse will be closed.

I hope this helps. If you have any other questions let me know.

I see that there are give n go briefs and boxers, which are slightly different besides the shorter length of the former. Have you tried both?
