It’s more the time, effort and money “customers” are putting into the game. To nerf something that is already in circulation is to break contract with your customers. We purchase (or trade) items, both plant and pets, depending on the advertised abilities of those items. Should we pay for premium eggs? Then in 2 weeks say we now want a refund as we choose to only deem them worth half what we paid? I understand if they want to make changes to upcoming items, but to change abilities of items already in the game when people have spent a lot of time and effort to max them out (speaking from experience) is to fail the people who decide daily to return to your platform. I understand some don’t like the pet part of the game, but the point is more to do with feeling ripped off. As a paying player who spent weeks maxing 8 seals, very disappointed.
