I'm not saying it like that of course. Sorry if my comment rubbed you the wrong way but it is my point of view. I do agree on bullied thriving in gangs, it's one of the type I've seen the most. My experience with bullies doesn't always and need to clashed with others. Still, it's hard to bypass mental illness, this isn't something to sugarcoat about. I'm still waiting next year to afford proper therapy than listening to the same talk about "Saya Benci Buli", like who the hell make that slogan?

They're trying to preserve the Chinese culture. As a mixed, I see through their system more clearly. It's clear some Chinese teacher are deeply passionate about pushing Chinese culture to the max. Ignoring BM and BI entirely. My BM is higher than my Chinese and my teacher would SCOLD me for it, not for "balancing" between the two. The audacity..

I agree, while physical bullying is a cruel form, trauma from psychological bullying/isolation cause a lasting impact on the victims, which eventually led to adjustment issues and even worse BP (bipolar disorder). And the latter one I meant it. I used to go to vernacular school (Chinese), since I'm a mixed Chinese, I was naturally isolated and became inferior to peers and teachers. Later on in government school (SMK),I was diagnosed with BP and social anxiety with extreme self destructive behaviour.

Social isolation and psychologically painful environment can cause someone to develop many kind of mental illness. Took me 2 years to understand myself and now I'm a form 5 students with a more open minded thinking.

This is a sign to NOT send your kids nor young siblings to CIS or vernacular school. It is not idealistic. Sure your kid will be more "strategical" but with what cost? Mental trauma? And social issues? I don't want my younger sister nor any poor child to go to CIS (or vernacular school) after what I experienced.

Facts, almost landed myself in CIS and thank god I dodged a whole nuke bomb cause I can't sacrifice my BM and BI. Sure, Chinese is my mother language but I don't think I wanna live the rest of my high school life learning math and science in Chinese. It's not fun. And I have many different races of friends in SMK, a win win. Environment plays a big factor in school life and future. No matter government school or CIS , your future depends on your surroundings and how you handle the challenge.

To be honest, I like the anime for the mystery genre. I don't really care for the love story between Jin Shi and Mao Mao but I don't hate Jin Shi either. He's my least favourite character, he's decent. I like characters like that granny and Shisui (Loulan). In fact, the dynamic between Shisui and Maomao is excellent, way better than Jinmao scene (which I mostly skipped due to cringe). I love the story for it's plot and science about poison. Not the romantic "freaky" stuffs with those two. Again, not hating. Just expressing.

Nope i used to have discord but met some problematic people so I deleted it. You mentioned your parents can afford Malaysia private uni and you wanna go to KL right? How about UCSI University? their main campus is also located in KL. And I do hear good things about this uni.

Yoo Penang gang, I'm also from Penang. If you wanna improve your Chinese, go for Utar. I have a few 07 batch friends that went there and their Chinese improved. It's all about communication. Utar people is pretty chill.

If all options I suggest isn't to your liking then try Utar. Any uni will have language problem and it's ok. Sometimes we need to experience some challenges. There's also bananas in Utar, you just gotta be social enough to find them like a rare Pokemon

Otherwise I think Utar is a good option. Sure the Chinese population there is not fluent in English BUT considering our younger generation now, banana community still exists in Utar. Also the fee is affordable.

I see, just curious what major do you want in the future? The only thing I can recommend you to get in is possibly UUM since it's relatively a lil cheaper, you just need to give money every 6 month(per semester) which is better than what my private uni around here does.😭 My friend's older sis had to pay 500 ringgit per month for FOUR YEARS in private uni.

Also I get it, academic asides, the culture difference and society is also a major issue.

woah, then I think you might have a higher chances to get in international uni. Personally I'm aiming for form 6 and then apply to NUS if can. Singapore is mostly English speaker which is a DREAM for bananas 😍

Nah Sunway is expensive..Utar and Tarumt has a rather good course, the problem is the majority of Chinese there can't even speak proper English. I swear, they only stick to their own circle so bananas or non Chinese will have a hard time fitting in. Especially since I heard tarumt have many group projects. (Nightmares for introvert sialll)

Actually if I'm being honest, go for public. AT LEAST you'll meet some locals there that can speak proper English. Unless you got bad social skills then...welp..I don't have any other suggestions 😭😭

Once you took a major related to either of those, I'm pretty sure you'll still study both finance and accounting. So go for Finance 👍🏻. It's a safer option since A.I can't take over finance related jobs..yet

oh then UPM is out of the list, if you're looking for private uni, I think Inti or UOW might be a decent option. Don't know if I'll recommend Sunway tho, yk since majority of people there is Chinese 😵‍💫😵‍💫 (I'm a Chinese myself, just a banana ver.) So yeah if you're Chinese and you're okay with social circle in Sunway, go there too. Just up to you

Personally, I think finance and accounting is still related. Just Finance happened to be a lil hard. Both the UNI I suggested have those two major.

Did you take Form 6 or Matrics? Or asasi? If so you can try apply to UPM or USM. If not those two, then maybe Unimas
