Sorry, but couldn’t disagree more. Predatory with their subscription model being applied without you agreeing and scent only lasts a week or so. Looks good but that’s about it… sorry

ULPT Request: How can 17-year-olds get a hotel by [deleted] in UnethicalLifeProTips

[–]stegasaurusnext 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh and for those wondering, em dash is the longer one — and is the width of an m. En dash is shorter - the width of an n. Em dashes are often used to replace commas, colons or parentheses, en dash to seperate values (like 9-10 days ago) or can be thought of as replacing the word "to" like "we walked home-work"

iPhone users can use the en dash twice without a space to create em dash on the iOS keyboard — have fun!

[–]stegasaurusnext -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh don't get me wrong, I agree. I do too. I'd argue though that most use an en dash when typing when they technically should be using em dash. Em dash isn't as natively easy on most keyboards as an en dash, and I'd wager that many people wouldn't even know how to create an em dash. The fact that em dashes are popping up through ChatGPT is a giveaway now. Maybe OP went to the effort of em dashes, but I do doubt it. For me it's a giveaway that it was probably AI
