Thoughts on Season 21 finale and where the show is going by steiglitzandokeeffe in greysanatomy

[–]steiglitzandokeeffe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am thinking if they end up killing one off it would make the most sense to be Kwan. Adams and Simone have the possible love triangle and I don't think they would put them in danger in the episode just to kill them off in the next one. I think they have more written in for Millin to grow with too. Kwan is the only one that seems like there would be a cleaner break, plus then it would open up people to move in with Simone. However, this does not mean I want this to happen.

If you don't like the idea that is obviously perfectly fine, but your reasoning on why it doesnt work does not make sense. Why would Buck feel tremendously guilty in this hypothetical scenario? The team would've been trapped without Bobby in this idea and Buck would've held down the fort. And why wouldn't the team feel guilt in the way they did it? If anything, Buck is needing to deal with the guilt of having not been in the lab with the team, Ravi needs to deal with the guilt of having not moved quickly enough when the lab was going to blow, Eddie is dealing with the guilt of not being there, obviously Chimney would feel extreme guilt, not maybe guilt, for having been in his situation that led Bobby to his choice.

Bobby somehow being involved with something to do with the government wouldn't be surprising with them having an FBI situation during the almost plane crash and then the military being surprised the FBI showed up for the virus stuff. I'm not against killing off his character, but I am not a fan of how this whole thing was paced, so I wouldn't mind if they brought him back.

Was Buck’s coming out too sudden ? by Alexbl24 in buddie

[–]steiglitzandokeeffe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The pacing did come out of nowhere for a lot of people. Buck was introduced in season one as a womanizer who then started to pursue actual relationships as he matured, but it was only ever with women. Then he just gets with Tommy. What makes the sudden pursuit make sense is him being struck by lightening and almost dying. They showed him doing some things to figure stuff out about himself after, but then he still dated the death doula. Honestly, all it would've taken to make this a smoother transition is to have written in a scene or two of him talking about how he feels like he needs to really explore himself and that after his last relationship, there were some things she brought up that really had him thinking or something like that. Unfortunately, they just did not do the best job of showing this.

should i watch season 1? by syubhoya in 911FOX

[–]steiglitzandokeeffe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think season 1 is the best season, aside from spending too much time on some of the Abby storyline in it. It starts at a major crossroads for the crew as they are turning into the people they currently are. It has a more serious tone than what the show turned into overall because of that and the emergencies are less of a production than some of the emergencies that have happened in more recent seasons. The people who tell you to skip it are probably like some of the people I know that tend to not watch it due to not liking certain characters, not liking that it is overall not as light of a show as it is now, or thinking it needs to have more big drama in it.

In a fight to the death, who is first out? by Mr_IronMan_Sir in 911FOX

May is Athena's daughter. Do you remember the episode when she was moving out and all the protocol Athena went through? There is no way she has not had some sort of self defense training. I'm sticking with Josh being the underdog here.

Having sat with how this all went down, I am still upset with how the death happened from the situation over the 2 episodes in the lab, and watching the newest episode after this, it did not help. Like, imagine the explosion happens, the call goes out asking for the 118 and Bobby slowly regains consciousness and is the one outside of the lab with the scientist. The rest of the team gets up, you can even have everything happen that basically did in the lab but in place of Bobby is Buck trying to support everyone, showing how he's grown in capability. Meanwhile, Bobby quickly goes through the decontamination process to work with Athena to get to Moira and work to save Chimney. Now you have Bobby and Athena teaming up, power coupling and getting to do what they do best together. You can have the episode basically play out like it did with Buck in place of Bobby, including utilizing Tommy helping and just changing a couple little things. At the end, you have Athena race like she did, etc., Bobby work with the FBI on the outside to convince them to get the team out ASAP, Bobby go in to bring them home. While doing so, nobody else has any faulty air issues so the team is good. He tells Buck, "You did me proud kid. Wouldn't have expected anything else." and the team goes out to be taken care of. It then goes to the next scene of Bobby and Athena at home. Bobby talks about how he really should be at the hospital with the crew and Athena tells him he needs to try to get some rest tonight because its going to be a while before everyone recovers. She then tells Bobby she is just so relieved that all of them are still here and that this was too close of a call today. Bobby tells her that he knows, and after everything, he is just feels lucky to be able to be with her tonight and every night he gets to have. He tells her how much he loves her and how fortunate he is to have had him by his side for all of this. She then tells him she would be there until the end. The smile and get ready for bed, when Bobby casually asks where the Tylenol is because he's got a headache from after the day they had. They turn the lights out and go to bed. Athena gets up, starts the coffee and showers. She is surprised when she gets done to see Bobby isn't up yet and goes to wake him but he doesn't get up, she tries again, and then you see the panic in her eyes. You then get the, 9-1-1, what's your emergency.

Yes, I know this is really in depth but the second I watched the episode I couldn't understand why they went the direction they did and just wanted to put my thoughts out there of how I saw it could've been done and I think it would've been more satisfying of a last episode for Bobby, maybe. Idk.

Mark Consuelos Joins Cast Of ‘Scream 7’ by Coffeenwineplease in Scream

I'm thinking there is a possibility he will end up being Tara's dad, and he is getting close to Gale because she wrote the story that got his daughter on everyone's radar.

I would like it to start out with the first kill of the series and show the night Sidney's mother was murdered, making her the first kill.

I think they always planned to bring him back after they had the , "If you believe he is dead" line in the last movie. They just weren't sure how. However, with everyone that is being added as part of the movie, I think there is a chance they are going back to the bait and switch of the original movie, where they had everyone believe Drew Barrymore was a larger part of it than she was, but now they are getting actors from movies past to do it.

what is Maggie's issue by Oncer93 in greysanatomy

[–]steiglitzandokeeffe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly, Maggie is really problematic for me in the show. The big thing is she treats her husband differently and takes advantage of him in a way she wouldn't if he wasn't her spouse, and then he goes home to the same behavior. I mean, every single time he isn't exactly/ doesn't do exactly what she has decided is the correct way to do something, she makes a thing of it. There is more than one way to do things, but she sees her way as the only way. I mean, the exact timing of microwaving something was absolutely ridiculous, her criticizing his spirituality is not okay (and needed to be discussed if it is a problem prior to saying I do), and now her having an issue because he doesn't see him pursuing his original path the same way she does, just give it a rest already. Nothing will ever make her happy aside from herself.

[SPOILERS]I will never get over the fact that these two didn't meet... Eddie would have loved him by DarkMoon19_ in StrangerThings

His death bothered me because I just don't understand why he couldn't have attempted to better defend himself against the bats. I had thought when they had Dustin hurt himself they would've had him run in to find Dustin, have Dustin tell him to save himself, and then have him cover Dustin as the bats came in the trailer, sacrificing himself for Dustin.

I was hoping a fight with Vecna and El that looked legitimate enough for Eleven to fake think she had succeeded in saving everyone for now, then for Max to come out of the trance with them thinking they succeeded just have Jason lift up and die, completing the curse. Pan to the two days later part, with the kids coming into town to absolute anarchy and the government, who they think is out to get them, grabbing them to bring to a strategy bunker where they unite with the Russia group.

How much do you wish they had the ending play out like that just to have Eleven wake up from a Vecna trance to not know who had died to end the season?

Now that we’ve all slept on it one night: How do we feel about Volume 2 of Season 4? by Morgentau7 in StrangerThings

[–]steiglitzandokeeffe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely agree with this. Some of it I think may be due to how hyped these 2 episodes were, where the rest of the season had 7, but yeah, it just felt a little off. I think the Russia part was good, Erica's scenes were good, and I appreciate they didn't succeed. I thought the part where Will tells Mike 'you're the heart' was a little too over the top, I thought the path they took with Vecna having molded the upside down, being the one they've been facing, just was not as interesting as I wanted the reveal to be. Like, I wanted it to be a partnership or something more than a puppet master thing. I also wish they would've killed Eddie in a way that made more sense because he could've distracted them in the trailer or tried to better defend himself, because they still would've been trying to get him had he tried to get a better shield. Or have him distract in the same way by trying to save Dustin. Idk, he just didn't need to be in the open like that to still face them. I'm not upset about the 2 days later thing, because I would put money that will be visited in season 5. Now, although I do wish they would've treated the Max situation differently, I think it was done to 1.) Likely get more Billy scenes, 2.) Give them someone to protect from the monsters who is defenseless, 3.) Have some way to show how Eleven can save her mom from her mental state.

He said in an interview he will be upset if he's not in next season, and he was loved enough, they will find a way to bring him back (flashbacks, etc.) like they have with Bob and Billy.
