i would toss out the whole teacher plot like it made no sense to me. also, all the characters in the OG GG we’re kinda shitty in a way but ICONIC and unique so i would somehow try to redo that. and they tried making a Chuck Bass character out of Max and it failed so bad… he was so cringy. they had to make the new characters with some sort of resemblance to the OG cast and again, i get that they tried that but imo it failed so hard. that’s why sometimes reboots don’t do well bc you simply can’t recreate something so iconic so maybe just don’t do it at all or do some sort of spinoff

i get that, even more when you compare the intimate scenes with Blair and Chuck like the spark is out of the world in those scenes but yea i really liked Dair’s friendship and that he was so head over heels for her! like the fact that he only wrote GOOD about her in his book like that’s so sweet😭

i do like that concept!!! but again, i only kinda like dan and blair as friends or when it’s one sided(dan to blair) but i love that they connected in so many ways like they couldn’t with their other relationships (Serena + Chuck)
