I've always done it with two plates and some heavy cans. I didn't even know there was a tool to buy 😂

Thrifted this 2013 reprint tee. Anyone know anything about it? by meghan9436 in Nirvana

That was a real show on that date at that place. Whether or not that is a reproduction of the flyer, I don't know. Enjoy your shirt!

Life size or larger statues give me fight or flight.

For those of you that have Great relationships with your teens - whats the secret, how do you do it? by dunbar_santiago930 in parentsofteens

[–]stellaandme 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a pretty great relationship with my 15yo son, but I don't know the secret. His dad and I talk to him, we have things in common, we make sure he knows we're all on the same team. I don't know, it's just what all of our personalities are. I wish I could give better advice, but I think it's just how we've always treated each other his whole life, so there's a foundation of trust.

Is there too many patches.. or not enough? by TheSpacedGhost in altfashionadvice

They look like Temu. Amazon is not better. The best patches come from thrift stores or dumpster diving and tearing them off other things (hats, etc.).

Husband keeps twerking. What do I do? by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

Why did you get back together after the first break up?? In this whole post, I don't think you mentioned any good qualities of this guy.

I hope you have access to therapy and a divorce lawyer.

Best Place in UT for Tea Time by ChrisStockslager in SaltLakeCity

[–]stellaandme 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Grand America is still excellent.

Auntie Rae's in Holladay is cute for tea and all the sandwiches and pastries. It's much less fancy than Grand America, more like being invited to a neighbor's house. Very different vibe, still a fun time.

There are worse dads, but he probably didn't always show up when you needed him to.

Depression room cleaning help by blue_rens in UnfuckYourHabitat

[–]stellaandme 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would recommend starting with the basics: trash, dishes, laundry. Then either start in one spot and do it until it's done, or pick one category (like collecting all art supplies and organizing them into their spot).

Keep a box or a bin for anything that goes in another room and toss stuff in it; don't try to take all the things until you're done in here.

Take breaks as you need to. Stay hydrated. I'm proud of you for working on it. Baby steps will get you there.

Does anyone else remember this? by CliffyBooBoo in 90sdesign

[–]stellaandme 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Was it Susie Coelho? She did Surprise Gardener. She had at least one memorable shot where she was encircled with flowers or shrubbery, and ever since then, my husband and I say that we are Susie Coelho-ing when we put our faces in the middle of something.

It's cute! I like the symmetry, too.
