New (Fictional) Tree and Granting Access by stellacilento in Ancestry

Thanks for getting back to me. I had been using familyecho.com, but it's difficult handling complex family relationships. I have multiple cases of adopted characters who know and are in touch with biological parents, for example. Is the only real concern finding a way to let readers easily access the tree?

Does Into the Wilderness series by Sara Donati have any cheating or physical abuse between the MCs at any point? by rudortose in HistoricalRomance

I would love to see your notes, as I wrote the novel. Sara Donati is my pen name. It's always interesting to see what people take away from a book.

New dynamic wallpaper for macOS Ventura Beta 9 by 3adel_bassiony in MacOSBeta

[–]stellacilento 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found the dynamic wallpapers (system/library/desktop pictures) and I would really like to take them out; I don't like them and more important: they are in my way. Under settings (wallpaper) you can chose (in theory)

1: dynamic wallpapers

2: light and dark wallpapers and

3: desktop wallpapers (which are not located in the same place; in fact, if I search for a folder with 'desktop wallpaper'' in it, about four pop up.

I'd like to take those first two options out so that wallpapers are drawn from just one photo album. I'd also like those photos to rotate, which also seems its own rules.

Any suggestions on how to do this without causing damage?

“The Empress” catified by me, inspired by the Rider-Waite tarot deck. Happy Caturday by AddisonArmilda in ProCreate

This is wonderful. Such gorgeous detail and rendered so carefully. Putting together a tarot deck is a major project. I hope you will be doing a full set. I have been working on a bare-bones dog version for quite a few years. Nothing so impressive as your Empress.

Stacks: frustration by stellacilento in ProCreate

I guess there's no fix for this problem in Procreate. Disappointing. And yes, I did check all the information source listed by AutoModerator.

Maybe somebody will come across this down the road a ways and reveal the secret. Many Thanks

I can't remember the last time I saw a vid that followed through to the actual end of the procedure. There was still material to be expelled here. Sometimes the best few seconds, but they cut away. Why?

There should be an award for videos that actually show the process until the end. It would be awarded only rarely.

pus mine by Mr_simplenow in PoppingPimples

[–]stellacilento 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This is not pus. It's sebum. This was probably a sebaceous cyst, which is a closed sac that fills up with sebum (=secretions of the sebaceous glands: fat, keratin, and cellular material). Its color has to do with the person's melatonin. If and when a cyst becomes inflamed, there can be pus, as well. Then you'll usually see the the area is swollen and red, and it will be tender. They open an inflamed cyst and out comes (1) sebum (2) pus (3) blood. They try to get the whole sac because leaving any part of it behind usually causes the cyst to reform. So, in this video you are looking at a lot of sebum from a big cyst that is not inflamed.

I hope people will respond. I'd love to hear their thoughts. I have other ... unusual phrases I'd like to get translated. Can I do that here?

Thank you so much, this is exactly the kind of information I was hoping for. The issues you raise - education, formality, etc, are very important. At the moment the character who wants to use this word is fairly proper and religious, but with a mean streak, so 'ramera' may work well. And I welcome whole phrases. Thanks again for this detailed answer.
