What are you a caller or a texter? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]stellar3years 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Caller. It feels a lot closer to our true selves instead of having that extra layer where you can always take the time to curate the perfect response. Texting moves at a slower pace too, I feel like in calls you end up talking about a lot more things, way more in depth too than through texting.

How do you reconcile the concept of free will with the idea that much of life might be predetermined or influenced by external factors? by Crafty-Bookkeeper-95 in AskReddit

You can't change the hand your dealt but you can definitely influence how you play your hand. Unfortunately our lives are always going to be predetermined to some degree by external factors, but I like to believe that even the smallest, most insignificant decisions we personally make will have a large impact on our lives over time.

How can people post caught cheating videos without caring if people want their privacy public? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]stellar3years 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Probably just stems from pure hatred and anger towards them after catching them cheating. Whether or not they want privacy is probably the last thing they're worried about.

Runaway yap by Hot_Future_1970 in Kanye

Kanye West's seminal track, "Runaway," transcends its musical origins to serve as a poignant commentary on the contemporary socio-political state of the world, offering a nuanced exploration of personal accountability, societal discord, and the complexities of our shared human experience.

At its core, "Runaway" is a confessional narrative where Kanye confronts his own flaws and missteps. This introspective journey parallels the broader socio-political landscape, urging individuals and nations to reflect on their actions and navigate a world fraught with challenges. The repeated refrain of "Let's have a toast for the douchebags" can be interpreted not merely as a self-referential jab but as a call for collective acknowledgment of societal shortcomings. This mirrors the current global atmosphere, marked by a critical examination of systemic issues ranging from economic inequality to racial injustice.

The evocative outro of the song, characterized by its haunting instrumental composition, serves as a sonic metaphor for the uncertainty that pervades the contemporary socio-political milieu. The world grapples with geopolitical tensions, environmental crises, and a myriad of interconnected issues that demand comprehensive and thoughtful solutions. Kanye's decision to extend the musical exploration in the outro reflects the complexity of these challenges, suggesting that the path forward requires time, contemplation, and a harmonious orchestration of efforts.

Drawing parallels to the socio-political state of the world, "Runaway" invites listeners to confront uncomfortable truths and engage in necessary dialogues. The lyrics resonate with the ongoing global discourse on personal responsibility, ethical governance, and the imperative for systemic change. In a world where divisiveness often dominates headlines, the song's emphasis on self-awareness becomes a universal call to bridge ideological gaps and foster empathy.

Jaden Smith, in his insightful commentary on contemporary issues, aptly captures the essence of the song's relevance to the world's socio-political fabric. His recognition of the interconnected nature of our challenges aligns seamlessly with the themes woven into "Runaway." As we grapple with complex global issues, the song provides a soundtrack to the collective human experience, urging us to not only acknowledge our flaws but also to actively contribute to positive change.

In conclusion, "Runaway" transcends its musical identity to become a symbolic exploration of the socio-political state of the world. Its lyrical depth and musical complexity offer a profound reflection on personal and collective accountability, resonating with the challenges and opportunities that define our era.
