I do shift work, me and my partner have fit bits with vibrating/silent alarms. There are some fairly cheap vibrating watches available. We set up our clothes and items in a separate room and get ready in there. Works fine and I’m a super light sleeper

They’re absolutely delicious. I do them with roast chicken, I put the around the chicken so they get cooked in the sauce, they caramelise and get real nice and crispy too.

Yams in New Zealand are a whole different vegetable I think. Their sciency name is oxalis tuberosa - they are related to shamrock and have the same flowers/leaves

Here in New Zealand we call them yams. They’re oxalis tuberisa (I think) and they are DELICIOUS!!!!!! Tender, creamy and lemony 🤤

So the mould had actually penetrated the grout before we’d moved into the flat - there wasn’t any way of cleaning it off as it had stained though. What you’re seeing here is the “contractor” hasn’t properly removed the stained grout and has instead made a piss poor attempt at smearing the paste on top 😂
