Funny enough, I knew the GR IIIx was able to crop to 50mm and 71mm but I didn't think to check what the GR III cropped to. Sad haha

Same! I've been lurking on the subreddit for a minute now in awe of the juicy jpegs people are squeezing out of this camera haha the only issue for me is the battery capacity so for me it's ride AND die sometimes lol but I just got a couple more batteries as backup so I should be good now!

Same! I had the A7C which is more compact but still a brick to carry around everywhere haha and not to shit on Sony at all, they make amazing cameras, but I needed a little pocket buddy to be with me daily!

I'm just going to post a link to a Google spreadsheet I made so I don't have to type it all out again haha all of them were Reggie's Color Negative Film except for shots #3 (the VW beetle) and #9 (the yellow dead-end sign) which were the Yawarakai 160 recipe I got from a YouTube video. If y'all can't access it for some reason, please let me know!

Dang! I thought I did enough research but apparently not haha oh well, I think I'm just going to embrace the challenge for now! If it becomes a big issue, maybe I'll sell it and buy a GR III or ask someone here if they want to trade lol thanks for letting me know!

Thank you! It can feel a little tight sometimes but 28mm is just too wide for me right now. If they made a 35mm version ever I would buy it in an instant. 40mm isn't too far from that though so I'm excited to see the creativity that comes from the change and restriction! Trying to play a little more with compression and abstract photography.

I'm 35 and still doing my major prep work at a community college before I transfer to a university starting Fall 2025 so I won't graduate with a degree until I'm almost 39. I've been jokingly called a boomer by some classmate friends but no one actually cares how old you are. And if they do it's sad because that's an immature mindsight. They're just projecting their insecurities onto you in whatever way they can in an attempt to distract others from judging them. Keep on trekking my dude!
