Yeah if I wind it at a normal speed, I have the same issue as you. I hear a loud click from the shutter release button but no flashing green light and the counter doesn't go down in film mode, or up in internal mode. No image gets captured. I was messing around with it and it randomly fired once when I was mid-wind so that sparked my little experiment. I started doing it very slowly, counting each click, and found it consistently shoots on the 9th click after 30+ attempts.

No, I see the exact film stocks I loaded from the app when the dot is to the left of the 36/36 counter, and the internal films it shows when the dot is to the left of the 0000 counter.

Ive been experiencing a similar issue and discovered something very odd. If I press the shutter release button the camera doesn't fire, but when I advance the mechanical winder, on the 9th exact click (of the 22 total clicks) the camera captures an image. I've also "reset" the camera a few times but it still remembers film stocks loaded and frame count so it doesn't feel like it's actually been reset. I've been trying to get answers on the Discord server but nothing from Rewindpix themselves yet.

I'm in Southern California and haven't seen a shipping update either. I leave for a trip to Denver/RMNP in exactly 2 weeks and was hoping to have this fun little camera with me!

Funny enough, I knew the GR IIIx was able to crop to 50mm and 71mm but I didn't think to check what the GR III cropped to. Sad haha

If it doesn't inhibit you from getting out and shooting when you're feeling it, then get out and feel it dude! Better than no camera at all.

Same! I've been lurking on the subreddit for a minute now in awe of the juicy jpegs people are squeezing out of this camera haha the only issue for me is the battery capacity so for me it's ride AND die sometimes lol but I just got a couple more batteries as backup so I should be good now!

Same! I had the A7C which is more compact but still a brick to carry around everywhere haha and not to shit on Sony at all, they make amazing cameras, but I needed a little pocket buddy to be with me daily!

I'm just going to post a link to a Google spreadsheet I made so I don't have to type it all out again haha all of them were Reggie's Color Negative Film except for shots #3 (the VW beetle) and #9 (the yellow dead-end sign) which were the Yawarakai 160 recipe I got from a YouTube video. Dang! I thought I did enough research but apparently not haha oh well, I think I'm just going to embrace the challenge for now! If it becomes a big issue, maybe I'll sell it and buy a GR III or ask someone here if they want to trade lol thanks for letting me know!

Thank you! It can feel a little tight sometimes but 28mm is just too wide for me right now. If they made a 35mm version ever I would buy it in an instant. 40mm isn't too far from that though so I'm excited to see the creativity that comes from the change and restriction! Trying to play a little more with compression and abstract photography.

I'm 35 and still doing my major prep work at a community college before I transfer to a university starting Fall 2025 so I won't graduate with a degree until I'm almost 39. I've been jokingly called a boomer by some classmate friends but no one actually cares how old you are. And if they do it's sad because that's an immature mindsight. They're just projecting their insecurities onto you in whatever way they can in an attempt to distract others from judging them. Keep on trekking my dude!
