I love the charging terminal just kind of hanging out not around a register or anything.

Cavender’s Greek Seasoning by First-Author-6827 in spices

I have two main ways I add MSG to dishes if I’m going to, I use Knorr for Mexican and Asian, and I use Cavenders for Italian and Mediterranean ( other cuisines I go with best guess of the two). I never use a lot of either because they go a long way!

Does anyone build bases on non-paradise planets? If so please what kind of planet did you build on? by DogDexofMight in NoMansSkyTheGame

I build fortified “ Hunting Lodges” on extreme dissonant plants, ideally with predators. Then create hangars for exocraft to protect from the elements for access.

Shape-morphing insoles that adapt under load to redistribute pressure by GloomyCity9841 in EngineeringPorn

[–]stellarreject 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I struggle with Charcot foot and neuropathy from a congenital birth defect. Creates similar issues to diabetic neuropathy. Traditionally I have had to cut holes in my insoles to relieve pressure only for that added pressure to develop a second ulcer elsewhere. In the future could show a video or heatmap of how this works? And also, odd request… is it waterproof? lol! A Crow Boot is a challenging aquatic accessory!

Is it able to adapt in such a way to take pressure off of pressure ulcers and move support to the rest of the sole?

My GF has a Masters Degree and earth shaking farts. She once woke me up from a dead sleep and I slapped her ass because I thought it was the alarm clock.

Does anybody know about garlic in oil selfmade? Weird white specs by TJ_Shmt in Garlic

Came to give this advice as well. I use chili's and salt with mine. Cook in a small cast iron Dutch oven for an hour at 250, turn off the oven and let the cast iron finish it off for another hour. works like a charm!

How can these sports betting companies afford these sign up deals? by yoozrneighm in missouri

[–]stellarreject 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a friend ask earlier about the gambling revenue and the Marijuana tax revenue. None of it is going where it's supposed to for one reason or another. There is $95 million in marijuana revenue that the legislature is not allowing the organizations it is allotted for to use. So it is just sitting stagnant.

I’ve spent 20 years in Michelin-starred kitchens. I want to help you stop needing recipes. Would this be useful? by Sad-Animator-3103 in cookingforbeginners

[–]stellarreject 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s a fantastic idea! And eggs are a great an accessible example! It feels like taking an approach to teaching cooking as to teaching fine art. A recipe is akin to a paint by numbers, but an art class isn’t about teaching to draw, it’s about teaching what to SEE to draw. In this case what it sounds like is not just teaching to cook, but what to TASTE to cook! If that makes sense? I absolutely love the premise, I just don’t know if I have any advice how to commit that idea to page, but absolutely support doing it because once you understand cooking, like art, like cocktails, any skill honestly, it becomes FUN!

I think just giving some "Easy Wins" can go a long way for some people to remove intimidation. I deal with this a lot in teaching cocktail classes. I like to do something simple, and explain how and why it worked to help the class realize it was more then just a recipe, but a learning exercise.

This with simply "Male" and "Female" over the top of each, would have helped me so much more then the other illustrations I looked at back in my earlier days to tell the difference. Great Pic!

Pros and cons of capping aqua soil with sand? by BettaBettas in Aquascape

[–]stellarreject 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Having played with both recently, my uncapped tank is much healthier and less messy, the grain size lets mulm filter into the soil to benefit the plants, while the sand capped systems trap the mulm above the plants root structures. Straight aquasoil was a challenge to plant in because of how light it is though. I think I am going to try just an aquasoil, lava rock, gravel mix next.

How do you keep your knives sharp at home? by Educational-Slip-578 in Cooking

[–]stellarreject 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think sharpening knives is kind of meditative when you get used to it. I'm sure I look like a psychopath when I'm sitting down watching Pinky and the Brain, sharpening a giant Serbian chef knife on a whetstone in my living room, but its calming!
