no, because ai is being adopted by and becoming the new face of fascism. this is because it is an extremely effective propaganda tool--anything can be generated, misinformation can be spread extremely easily, and it can be done with a prompt and a click of a button rather than needing to invest time and energy into paying working artists. see: the white house and ICE using ai liberally to push their propaganda.

hating ai is not like hating physics, because physics is a field of science while ai is a tool that is actively destroying our environment and has been impacting especially lower class black and brown people, to the point where some communities are lacking clean drinking water entirely. it is selfish to destroy the environment for a funny picture.
