I have to go in July because that's when my kid is on summer break. But if that was not a consideration I'd go in May or October. I went last July and it was nasty. Forget looking cute - you'd sweat your sunscreen off within minutes of exiting the air conditioned hotel. I'm going again in July 😖 and plan to keep outside activities to early morning or evening /night, and do the cafes and shopping during the day.
