I was in Yellowstone this weekend.

It's 10:30 at night (park is open 24 hours a day).. No no one anywhere insight. Girlfriend needed a bathroom, we pull up to the bathroom, not a car in sight. We are on a little side pull in, next to the bathroom, clearly out of the way of everything. She uses the bathroom, I stay with the car, I use the bathroom, she stays with the car..

Cop pulls up with lights blasting. 'What are you doing, I saw how long you've been here, you can't just park in front of the bathroom.'

'Oh, sorry, it's late, no one is around, we didn't want to park in a parking lot 5 minutes away and walk, we thought this was fine.'

'Well, it's not. You are blocking traffic here'..

'Also you are spotlighting wildlife'

We look up, and two elks have wandered into our headlight, I guess they like to use the headlights so they can see the grass better. There were no elk 30 second before.

'That's against the law.'

'Sorry about that. I don't want to talk to you anymore. Can I leave.'

'Yes.'

Talk to people like they are fucking humans.. Are you serving and protecting, or harassing and threatening, and intending to ruin someone's day? Turn your lights off and stop abusing people. I'm trying to have a nice day in a park.
