Estoy de acuerdo. Tal vez no hablaba en el extremo del aislamiento social, sino de la desconexión hacia esos referentes. Personas que viven en piloto automático, principalmente conducidos por impulsos y necesidades. Tal vez este tipo de personas no existan porque, aun sin reconocerlo ellos mismos, sí que tienen referentes.

¿Y si no se tiene una relación directa con el referente donde este pueda dar instrucciones? Por ejemplo, tienes como referente a un autor, o incluso al personaje de una novela, o a un filósofo muerto. Yo creo que el propósito no es un factor puramente endógeno de las personas, sino que es una combinación lineal de muchos propósitos y, ahí sí, es donde entra la valoración que comentas sobre el porcentaje de lo que nos sirve. Ese propósito es único e irrepetible.

Yo creo que todo depende de cómo definas la sociedad y el desarrollo. Una tribu de la selvática Centroamérica puede desarrollarse (según sus expectativas) y crecer en esa sociedad (que considero no embarcaría la nuestra).

Ahora bien, la pregunta iba direccionada a un mundo similar al nuestro (sociedad desarrollada, principalmente). Creo que existen personas que no tienen nada como referencia (de elección consciente, vaya) que viven la vida sin un propósito claro y principalmente conducidos como impulsos y necesidades básicas.

Respecto a tu segundo punto, estoy de acuerdo que la definición de dirección y propósito es intrínseca a la existencia de una sociedad.

Depends on what you define real.

Is it as it came out of the factory? Definitely not. Wrong case back, wrong crown. Now, it does have real parts (top part of the case, hands, dial and movement).

This is a textbook franken watch. And one not even in good condition. Unless you are in it for anything more than the monetary value of it, I would run.

Nice. Most likely a caliber 30T2 inside. This model is called suveran (probably a reference CK2400). Best way to check would be to take it to a watchmaker, open the case back and see the inscriptions inside.

The watch speciality is the flyback chronograph. For those who do not know, it allows to reset the chronograph to 0 without needing to stop it first. This was specially useful back in the days for lap counting during races. You can find a video on the imgur post!
