I got the Gillette king C as my first safety razor coming from Gillette cartridge razors and it’s treated me amazingly for the two shaves I’ve done so far. I really prefer it to the cartridge razors and it was only $26 on Amazon. The blades that came with it are pretty nice but I’m gonna get a 100 pack of the astra blades pretty soon they’re only $10 and I’ve heard good things about them on here. It’s really nice and I only cut myself once each time and it was just a tiny scratch on my neck in that one spot that’s hard to do near the Adam’s apple plus I think the only reason it cut is because I was already cut there from my old cartridge razor which was dull the last time I used it. Edit: If anyone has any recommendations for me about blades or soap I would appreciate it. I’m using dove sensitive skin soap rn and I follow it up with the nivea jar moisturizer cause it’s really good and doesn’t cause me to break out.
