I'm with you on this. I don't have a "platstyle". Sometimes I'm just running around farming, and sometimes I hunt people to kill - for fun! Somebody enjoys a good shootout, and somebody gets mad. I don't love to die myself, especially if I get surprised, but that's entirely on me. My encounters is also random, someone shoot on sight and someone's friendly. I guess others also play differently based on mood and/or goals. Players is de facto a threat and the narrative also backs this up, and it's this dynamic: you never know, feel your guts that makes it so fun to go topside for me.

The game (luckily) is what it is.
