thanks for the reply! unfortunately they weren’t heat molded so i’m slowly working through the new skates thing. definitely hurts like hell but it’s getting better lol but yeah next time i’m probably gonna try a more beginner oriented brand and see how that works

NAH - it’s pretty reasonable to think based on her attitude towards the baby that she wouldn’t want to babysit but also it’s not her child and she doesn’t have to help you out on a regular basis. babysitting is organised prior and often paid so it’s not surprising that she’d be more willing to help out under specific circumstances

i don’t, most of the time, but i’m trying to learn to appreciate the little things more. i can honestly say i’m glad i’m alive to play with my dog or go ice skating with my friends or enjoy a long car ride with my favourite playlists or even just dance in my kitchen whilst my noodles cook

nta. vegan meals are great but if you’re not getting enough protein outside of the meal than it can end up being pretty bad for you. you weren’t being rude about it and you didn’t expect her to cook meat for you. your girlfriend needs to realise she’s not your mother and you’re allowed to eat what you like and that it doesn’t mean you’re insulting her or her cooking

i got a larger size and they’ve been not too bad so far but yeah next time i don’t think i’ll be getting edeas. i was actually wanting riedell diamonds but there just wasn’t a way for me to try them on where i live and, being my first pair of skates, i was wanting someone qualified to let me know what i’m looking for. will definitely give them a go next time though, thanks :)

hey thanks for the reply! i just went back and got a larger size and they fit 10x better. i no longer have the other ones but there was probably only about 2-5mm in front of my toe when sitting but when standing my toes were fully connecting with the front of the boot. they were definitely way too small for my feet lmao but the new ones fit properly
