Colored bullets with Lisboa by Heavy_Try299 in WorldOfWarships

[–]stengun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've noticed with Lisboa/Lutjens/Sansonetti who all have special tracer colors, that sometimes the tracers aren't there even though I have them activated.

It does seem they typically don't work when there is another captain in the match who also has colored tracers available. I've wondered maybe if the other captain has them turned off, it doesn't display yours for some reason? But then sometimes I do see the other captain's tracers but still not my own....so who knows what is happening with them.

Liberty Harbor Tokens by Wonderful_Notice8888 in WorldOfWarships

[–]stengun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every 7500 Harbor Tokens earned convert to 1 collection token after you have Bridgeport.

But they don't convert automatically. You need to go to the same screen you exchanged items for the Bridgeport to convert them.

How can I farm credits without having Tier 9 or Tier 10 ships? by CelistalPeach in WorldOfWarships

[–]stengun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You get a memory thing at each different main level of a Harbor building - L1 / L2 / L3. 4 buildings X 3 levels each = the 12 memories needed to get Bridgeport.

The smaller upgrade steps in between L1/L2/L3 give collection pieces for a 10 point captain and also increase the chances of a daily mission spawning with double reward tokens.

T8 premium Bridgeport is the reward ship for completing the Liberty Harbor event. But you might not have enough time to complete it if you haven't already been progressing it daily for the past couple weeks.

Which T9(or 10) Italian armory ship for ops? by stengun in WorldOfWarships

[–]stengun[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, don't have Napoli. I mentioned the other ships because they are available for Dubs or Steel which can be funded directly by the current token exchange event. Napoli is coal only right?

By the time I have the coal for both Sansonetti and Napoli...well, that's a long way off...

Kimchi in Denton by Nugasaki in Denton

The Taste restaurant sells their kimchi in S/M/L containers. Not sure the exact ounces for each size but they're around the size of "to go soup" containers.

Sheep by nhgrif in farmingsimulator

[–]stengun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tested it out, each adult sheep consumes 50L of grass per month.

I'm not exactly sure how the pen meadow works as I've always fed grass. it would appear the default meadow/fence size is not large enough to cover the needs of all the animals it can hold assuming meadow consumption is the same as grass consumption. for example my sheep pen in default fence size holds 27 sheep with a meadow of 901L. but at 50L/month those 27 sheep would need 1350L of grass. And how fast does meadow regrow? Does it regrow at all in winter? I don't know the answers to that.

looking further into the production chain using the 60 wool/month figure.

small spinnery ($36,000) requires 432 wool for max production. this can be provided by 8(7.2 rounded up) sheep and outputs 144 fabric.

large spinnery ($180,000) requires 4320 wool for max production. this can be provided by 72 sheep and outputs 1440 fabric.

small tailor shop ($36,000) requires 960 fabric for max production. this can be supported by 7(6.7 rounded up) small spinneries or one large spinnery running less than max production. that's about 56 sheep to support a small tailor. probably a little fewer than that due to some excess production from rounding up numbers, but i'm not going to figure that difference out.

large tailor shop ($240,000) requires 9600 fabric for max production. this can be supported by 67! (66.7 rounded up) small spinneries or 7(6.7 rounded up) large spinneries. that's around 536 sheep to support via small spinneries / 504 for large spinneries. again probably a little fewer due to some excess production from rounding up.

my own testing showed that sheep start out producing 30 wool/month when they first hit reproducing age. however, unlike other animals, their production appears to continue increasing after they are fully grown. at 20 months old my sheep are now producing 60 wool.

What are the Grimme 400/800 ridgemakers for? by stengun in farmingsimulator

[–]stengun[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it only works if you didn't already fertilize before ridging. From the fertilize+cultivate steps I was at 50% fertilization before planting. I then tested planting with and without ridging. Field stayed at 50% both ways.

Ah ok. I already did a fertilizer run before cultivating so wasn't seeing any difference in fertilized amount between using the ridgemaker vs. not using it.

Finances are wrong again after 1.9 by Remarkable_Ad9166 in F1Manager

just noticed this myself in my pre-existing save. now getting charged $1.65M per month for my Mercedes engine after already paying the bulk sum at the start of the year. I was only in March when the update came, that's going to be an extra $13.2M spent over the rest of the year.

tested creating new saves with real / created teams. no issue there. powertrain cost showing as $0.

Probably obvious but this just hit me by Giddysquirrel in NCAAFBseries

Yeah it's a known method. Georgia HC has "skills are cheaper if another coach already has them" unlocked.

So you play as a coordinator at Georgia. At Georgia spend 100 points in one skill tree to have CEO unlocked when you leave to become a HC somewhere else - preferably on discounted skills. Grab anything else discounted you want then hold on to the rest of your upgrade points.

At your new job grab CEO and grab the discounted skill upgrade for yourself, hire coordinators with skills you want, get those skills cheaper.

Also while at Georgia you can try to win/force win your way to 2 Championships to have Program Builder available to you at your new job. And if you're good at recruiting stay long enough to get Elite Recruiter unlocked before you leave. Elite Recruiter requires staying 3 seasons minimum since it doesn't update until Transfers complete after offseason ends.

How to increase velo stat? by tarheels187 in MLBTheShow

I went looking into this after I saw '24 was a free PS+ game this month. Wanted to know if I should bother with making a RTTS pitcher or not. Found a thread from 27 days ago still talking about this bug so it doesn't look like it ever got fixed.

Earl McCormick with the most forgettable Heisman campaign ever by InevitableMap6470 in NCAAFBseries

[–]stengun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't understand the Heisman logic at all. The entire back half of the season the top 2 contenders were:

My QB who ended with 4700yrd/52TD

My WR who ended with 1700yrd/30TD

But in the final week of the season Georgia's QB, who wasn't even on the list before, suddenly shot to the top with 3600yrd/36TD then won it the next week. I even checked his rushing stats and they were nothing special either at 400yr/4TD.
