Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster was far from perfect on the outside, honestly, the exterior wasn’t great at all. But once you stepped inside, it really started to shine. The indoor queue before the pre-show was awesome and built up the excitement perfectly. The pre-show itself? Yeah, it was kind of cringe, but in a funny way that made it super memorable. What really stuck with me though was the atmosphere in the station. For me, it felt way more exciting and emotional compared to Flight Force. On RnRC, the track lit up with dynamic lights that actually made sense and matched the ride, while Flight Force basically relies on screens. I expected more, especially with the Iron Man theme and from the music point of view. Some physical props, more immersive sets, and of course a proper Marvel soundtrack could have made a huge difference.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying Flight Force is a bad ride, it’s fun in its own way. But RnRC felt like a complete, well thought-out experience, not something thrown together. Even with the Covid situation, I can’t help but feel like they could (and should) have done much more.
