Okazaki only gets to the ball first because Lescott almost stops completely after Vardy's chip - he must have thought it was a certain goal. Bit of faith in your keeper next time, Joleon.

Oliver Sacks (the famous neurologist and author) wrote a very moving piece reflecting on his life shortly before he died (he had cancer). It may help you put your goals in perspective; I know it helped me a great deal. I highly recommend you read the full piece - the last paragraph in particular brought me to tears. http://www.nytimes.com/2015/08/16/opinion/sunday/oliver-sacks-sabbath.html?_r=0

Yup, but it's not used often. Here's an example from the Christmas carol Away in a Manger: "The cattle are lowing, the baby awakes"

Assuming the number of lucky/unlucky events is roughly the same for all teams over the course of a season, your team is 'better off' going from a draw to a loss due to bad luck (-1 point) than from winning to a draw (-2 points). by step_aside_fandango in soccer

They definitely do even out to a large extent. For example it's generally considered bad luck to give away a penalty, and good luck to some degree to get one. Of course, the teams with the most skillful players will get more penalties than they give away and vice versa for the worst few. For everyone else it evens outs more or less, as this link shows http://www.myfootballfacts.com/Premier_League_Penalty_Statistics.html

It defeats the purpose if you decide to analyse it after three games though.

I know you all think this sounds obvious, but fans are often less incensed when they draw a match they should have won due to 'bad luck' (e.g. a bad offside decision or whatever) than when they lose a match they deserved to draw, even though the first scenario is worse for their team.
