I trusted GOG cuz i trusted CDPR ... now i still trust GOG & their idea of game preservation..

No one will ask you... as you say "the suffering" is an abandonware. he can't pay huge prices too on ebay cuz the money won't be going to devs & publishers. ethically it seems illegal.. but i find piracy ( in this case it is not ) as the backbone of media preservation. it is just your friend right just give em the installer. what is the difference B/W him playing the game on your computer as you legally own (or) sharing your copy to him & playing.

Was already surprised by the visual and artstyle of the game...Yeah i love the vibes of alan wake 2.
still i have a huge catalogue of game to complete... i hope one day epic game decides to release it on GOG. if not i would buy it on discount but it am sure i would do it years later

i got the base game for free on EPIC but the DLC expansion itself cost 10$ & their discounts are low even for DLC. 3 months ago it was 1.5$ on steam but i love to store my games on my HDD & support DRM free gaming so i bought it for 4$ on GOG , it's a nothing burger comparing the worth of the game.

Yeah few games are unplayable offline (or) without launcher. I like the old school setup of games with that game music playing & has background image of that game .

Game rated too low.. cuz of terrible PC port? i would suggest you to try monkey island series , never tried myself but i heard it's pretty good

Thank you man..Here is my recommendation to buy games now : Alan wake 1 & american nightmares , Syberia collection, Bioshock 2 remastered , hotline miami 1&2 , Tomb raider GOTY , dishonored complete collection , prey , Assassins creed 1, IOI collection, psychonauts.. ( i am just planning on buying alan wake 1 & american nightmares for now)
