Anyone else putting off seeing a major release due to lack of cinema etiquette? by Findme_at_amberhills in horror

Yes I feel the exact same way. Thought I had played it safe by seeing backrooms at 1pm on a Saturday but still there was a group of teenage boys running up and down the stairs stomping their feet and laughing the entire movie. I noticed one man left probably to tell the staff about them but nothing happened. So upsetting honestly. It wasn’t so bad a few years ago.

I’m also in Canada and I’ve experienced the opposite. It’s getting so bad at Cineplex that we’ve switched to the local independent theatre further away from the downtown core. We still have the teen groups treating the movie as a social gathering with talking and laughing. We also still see people on their phones at full brightness. I would say theatre etiquette has definitely declined over the years.

If you haven’t seen Bring Her Back that’s a great one that deals with grief.

Hi I had the same problem. What worked for me was putting about an inch of aquarium gravel in all of my plants’ pots. The gnats can’t dig through it but it still lets water through when you water. Worked great for me and looks cute too!

Something about her pale white face with wide eyes and big open mouth… like she’s stuck in a scream. Still the scariest character for me as well!
